What is the PRX Launcher v0.4 for all 3.XX OE? It's Team XK's contribution to the homebrew community which is a plugin which can launch an eboot from an icon, that's what! But unlike the previous releases, you will find that there have been some new stuff added or tweaked (duh, that's why it's a new version). So, in this file, there are 5 prx identified as (deep breath) HBx.prx (x=1 .. 5). Each HBx launch ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/HBx/EBOOT.PBP.
theketchupman explains that it's been put in the System folder because you won't see the file in the Game menu on vsh. Now, for you to get it running, you'll have to rename the hbx into a plugin name, and then flash it to your PSP. If you think you need more of them prx, then hexedit the path of the HB to launch.
As for the important things you need to know, there are three:
- not capable of launching kxploit homebrew (you'll need to use 1.00 hb)
- no compatibility issues with SCEP
- some hb (like snesxstyl) may have problems -- but only a few
So, to sum it up, the PRX Launcher v0.4 is now working on 3.30 and 3.40 OE, and although it's only been tested on 3.40 OE, it should work nicely with 3.30 OE.

I love this program.
what does launching from an icon mean? like replace update with w/e?
like so you can modify it so you can launch a homebrew app from an icon. For example say you could make it so when you click Network Update it launches whatever homebrew is in the folder PSP/GAME/APP1
Which prx can be replaced to change the action of the RSS icon?

So how do i make an 1.0 type eboot from a kxploited 1.50 HB? I tried to fuse the eboot from boths folders (something + something%) with PSPBrew... but it doesn't seem to work. I tried using just the eboot from the "something" path, not from the "something%", but that doesn't work either. Strangly enough, my own lil homebrew project, that i built myself to a non kxploited eboot does work.
i tried it with that too.. still no use...
will this work with 3.xx homebrew. Cuz i wanted to change locationfree player so it would load PSPRadio (the newer version)
ok i want to know if i could change the prx in the location free player icon..i want it to power off the psp ...is this possible? all so is the a list i could find or down load that has a list of all the prxs and what they do and a list of icons and what i could do or change in them?...ie a tutoral? thanks
what is meant in the article when it says, "you'll have to rename the hbx into a plugin name, and then flash it to your PSP. If you think you need more of them prx, then hexedit the path of the HB to launch."? the questions I have are: 1. why rename the hbx? 2. how does one rename the hbx file into a plugin? 3. what constitutes a plugin name? 4. and how exactly does one hexedit the path of the HB? I'm new to the whole homebrew( could it be more obvious?) scene and any help would be appreciated.
