PSP - Image 1First, we're announcing that team 280 had a name change - they now go by the moniker Team XK. Second, Team XK's theketchupman is letting everybody know that their "PRX that launches Recovery Mode or even EBOOT" (dubbed the PRX Launcher for short) has just received an update, and should now be available for downloading.

As a refresher: This PRX basically allows you to launch an EBOOT program - which comes in handy in case you need to launch an EBOOT from the XMB Icon. Here's the changelog:

Update Version 0.3f
  • Added two more plugins (htmlviewer = browser, and camera).
  • Flash the plugin(s) into flash0:/VSH/NODULE.
Update Version 0.3
  • Now, you can launch from every folder you want (you can for example launch an eboot in ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM ). It cant (for the moment) load anything from flash0 / flash1...
  • There's only the four PRX (premo, license, update, lftv). Flash it with the generic flasher, or via recovery. Config files are still the same (premo.txt, license.txt, update.txt and lftv.txt in PSP/SYSTEM).
Just make sure to read up on their forum thread to get the full details on how this app works, and remember that it was built to run on 3.03OE and 3.10OE. As always, we remind you to be careful - homebrews like these are handy, but always run the risk of bricking your PSP if not handled properly. For now, we'll have to wait for any further updates.

nahh, no way

is there any reason why i cant get this to work ive never had any probs before like this but whichever i try just reboots my psp, different file locations dont work either im using recovery mode/usb toggle to drag n drop the files in the right place but i get the same response, which is a slower than normal reboot with a slight flicker from mem stick. also i have 2 psps with playstation spot on em & portable tv & one that doesnt have these features ......anyone any idea? both on 3.10 OE-A

Check PRX's

Check your seplugin folder or under recovery. Some PRX's won't let this work. I had the same problem, it was not working and I disabled the mp3 plugin in VSH and it worked there after Good Luck

doesnt work.

DONT DOWNLOAD.. it didnt work for me. I changed the configuration on the camera and net_update txt's, i flashed the according prx(s) in vsh/nodule, used 150 kernel, disabled ALL plugins.. *RASBERRY*

works fine.........

if you dont like seplugins or if you dont use them this will work perfectly.......but even from a bare re-flash i had problems (reflashed twice) cos i had the seplugins folder strange i know but when i renamed it to "1seplugins" the autoboot icon worked well, not slow or lagged,,,as if it had rebooted with the app fully loaded, is there any referance to seplugins in the prxs that maybe conflicting cos it seems strange that these be the only modules ive had with probs with seplugins folder. ive tried disabling all plugins too, that didnt make a difference. gona try it again at work with 3.10 OE-2_A cos this looks an awesome app if u dont need plugins........itll clean my games/apps menu up
