AceHack's PRX Installer v0.1 - Image 1

There's a new homebrew coder on the scene, and his name is AceHack. AceHack recently dropped by our forums to announce his very first homebrew program for the PSP: PRX Installer version 0.1. PRX Installer is a Windows program designed to let users install PRXs for their firmware.

According to AceHack's write-up, PRX Installer version 0.1 doesn't overwrite your plugins, but instead adds onto it. It automatically detects your PlayStation drive and will allow you to pick PRXs from your Applications PRX folder.

Note, however, that you will need Microsoft's .Net Framework v2.0 to get it to run. As always, check the readme for additional information about the author and his projects, and feel free to send questions and comments to AceHack through our forum post below. Enjoy the app!

What is wrong with you?

I see you like to be the first comment guy. But why don't say something positive? What's the reason to say something like that? If you don't like QJ why are you slobering arround here then!? I can't stand peoples like you and I think I got someone here that backs me up, and think's just as I do.

Fix your ads.

Hey QJ guys. Not that you didn't have enough ads already, but the clickthrough ads need some work. It's a simple formula I think you have made a mistake with. 1) I browse to QJ 2) Clickthrough Appears 3) I click 'skip this crap' and move to your page 4) Profit Instead, you seem to have implemented this: 1) I browse to QJ 2) Page loads, I begin to read first article. 3) Clicktrhough replaces entire page suddenly, forcing me to clik 'skip this crap' and then reload the page all over again'. 4) QJ look like idiots.

page ads

ads

thats what you call Pop up blocker..go download Mozilla Firefox and it wont have that problem
by - 2007-08-02 16:52:16
Dumb ass.

It is not what you call a popup blocker, tool. It is a click-through ad, an ad that you are forwarded to before (generally) the page content is displayed. I would have hoped it would help my referring to it by its name rather than calling it a 'pop up', but no, you still boldly proclaim your ignorant solution. Take you half assed computer skills to an AOL forum where they might be more appreciated, jackass.
by - 2007-08-02 16:56:24
idiot

This isn't a pop up we are talking about, its a click-through. Firefox can't do jack about it. But thanks for so confidently spewing your useless computer knowledge. I bet for just a moment you prided yourself in knowing something. Sorry to have to take that away from you, tool.

Ads

I also get the same click through ads problem. Not only that but this website takes ages to load. If I go to any other website it is almost instant. Good job QJ
