Portable VNC v1.2.6 (keyboard enhancement) |
Ó
PSP homebrew developer Zx-81 dropped by the QJ.Net Forums earlier to let us in on a new version he's got ready for Portable VNC - the application that allows PSP owners to access their PC via their portable console's Wi-Fi connectivity.
The latest updates for the app's version 1.2.6 are designed to polish up the wireless keyboard support (tested on a Targus Wireless keyboard) that Zx-81 had added to Portable VNC's previous version (v 1.2.5):
- Add new useful keys to the danzeff keyboard such as Win, Alt-tab, etc ...
- All keys of the virtual keyboard are now really working !
- (many keys were not usable in the previous version)
- Support more keys with the IR-keyboard
Installation instructions and usage details should be available in the file bundle's readme. Or, you can also opt to visit Zx-81's release thread over at our QJ.Net Forums. There a three files for download: One for PSP firmware 1.5, custom firmware 3.x, and PSP VNC v1.2.6's source codes.

All special keys such as cursor, home, page up etc ... didn't work properly in last version. Vt100 codes were sent to the VNC server instead of PC key codes, Zx
How do u connect to ur computer?
Blah? Blah blah blah, blah blah... Blah blah, blah blah (blah blah). Blah blah blah?
Do u need any program on ur computer because i type my ip address and i keep on getting error -1/116
1. Read this: http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/195/62/ 2. Read it again before you ask question. The link was on zx-81's blog (like right in your face in the forum comon people!!) 3. Go to your firewall settings in Control Panel.. in the "exception" option: - add the port number : 5900 - Call it whatever ("home" if youd like). This sounds craked out but its not.. its the only option you got adding an exception. Just take your time to look around before you panic! 4. Yes you need a program, the link is on his blog. Its called TightVNC, a really easy to use program.. you don't need any skills to use. Install it, fill up options such as password etc.. enable the "display : 0" check box. Keep other options. 5. On your PSP, set up a wireless connection (settings - network settings - Infrastructure - scan ...) 6. Put you Portable VNC homebrew where your supose to on your memory stick, and start it up. 7. Choose internet connection and connect. Go to options and select all check box. 8. Enter "new host". Enter your IP adress ending with the port number 5900 ex: 168.92.0.100:5900 9: Enter your password that you set up on your PC and voila! 10: Go and give money to zx-81 :-p pce!
thats cool and all but what about a mouse? Do you just put a wireless mouse into the usb port of the psp and enamble the usb through the OE recovery?
From which planet are you from? out here we use things like eeee.. the joystick, you know the one used to control the mouse in the web browser!? Go and get yourself a DS.. its for people with disorientation disabilities peace
Yeah I know But who the heck wants to use to joystick with the keyboard? Its akward!! Ooh I need to click on that lets moce the joystick and then hit circle! dude seriously. Think before you comment. I'm not the one who cant spell a Dis Peace Yo!!
Idiot, this app is used to control your PC over an internet connection anywhere in the world! The only thing useless is you talking about grammar issues. I'm French I don't give a rats ass haha Esti d'ignorant, ca me fais chier d'avoir a les disser autant haha peace ... "yo" lol
