moneytoo in the QJ forums, PSP homebrew developer">Madruscoe (aka moneytoo; the maker of PMP Mod AVC) has informed us about this bit of homebrew news. PMPlayer AdVanCe (PPA) by cooleyes (cooleyes_lf) has been updated. The homebrew application plays PMP files with AAC support. It also has skins, standby, TrueType (TT) fonts, and more features. More importantly, it has an English skin (although you have to do a little tweak to get it):
- To have an English skin for PPA, edit the config.xml by changing MHP to normal-en (you change the part that says "MHP" into "normal-en").
- [Core] broadcast :
- AVC Mod 1.02M improving on the day, that some original BUG
- support multicast, Chain function. The broadcast counterparts installed window mode (single individual broadcast multicast group, all-running)
- Support channel switching functions around the "br everywhere -- AAC support (limited sampling rate of 44.1KHz)
- Support the designated interface, the interface can be manually waiting in the main, if not more than five minutes to operate, you will be automatically entered; presented does not support the staging, please do not try to, it may lead to erroneous or even Deadlock

- pretty File Browser interface, with the help of perfect information (hereinafter referred to the original skin CG illustrated AreX producer) rich installed option "br everywhere -- arbitrary list of open broadcast Wi-Fi support USB & PMPAVC films broadcast on the PC. directly delete film.
- Each film shows the detailed information (resolution, long time, FPS, Tracks number extrapolated few subtitles)

i looked through the config files and the is a way to stream vides from your pc i think you need to set you ip in one of the config files if im wrong o well
oh if you want the english skin just rename the (normal_en) folder to (default) and you can just delete the chinese one
This doesnt appear to work with firmware 3.10OE, only 3.0XOE. Why lord?

Ok mate this does work on firmware 3.10OE, Thats what i have and it works fine...i dont know if u can stream vids from pc tho cos i dont use this for that i use pimpstreamer for that.. To change ur skin just hold L in and press Select and choose the normal_en one for english..
because 3.10 OE is crap
PMP AVC is MP4 aka MPEG4 AVC, PMP Mod is MPEG4 SP aka DivX/XviD. PMPlayer Advance is AVC.
Put it in your GAME150 folder, works fine.
Use XviD4PSP to convert your videos, it creates thumbnails for PMPlayer Advance. And no, it doesn't make "snapshot" updates to the thumbnail like PMP Mod AVC does.
what r the extensions that works with this mod and what program do i need to convert em?
