Madrusco (known as moneytoo in the QJ forums) has today proved that you don't need amazing programming skills to give something back to the community. He has released an updated version of the PMP Mod AVC subtitle mod despite describing his own PSP programming skills as 'poor'.
Well, they may be poor by his standards but by looking at the changelog, this mod should be very useful for any PMP Mod AVC user. It has some pretty good practical changes. See for yourself...here's the changelog:
- Added display subtitles up, when the bar is shown
- Added left battery life time on status bar during video play
- Added deleting only .pos file (press SELECT - O to confirm)
- Added time and battery on status bar during video play (audio stream and loop hidden - no use for me)
- Fixed file info date display (maybe only my problem cause of using xvid4psp)
- Fixed units Mb -> MB etc.
- Added deleting .pmp including .sub, .srt, and .pos files
- Added actual time display (press Start button to refresh)
- Added battery status (percent) and time left

i know, at this time some variables are located in my language (not english) so i translate it later
pmp support in the next custom firmware...that would be pretty sweet, right?

Yeah... a custom Frimware with a full resolution player. It's cost no space of the Flashmemory i think because gods like Dark Alex can break the the Sony "non full resolution code"

Great player, it runs smoothly at the lowest cpu speed. I wish there was a little run through of the controls on the GUI and hitting x plays like a 2 sec clip on mine. o is perfect,thanks.
BTW,in the future will this be skinnable or at least come with different UI like PSP radio? A WMP, Winamp, Divx, Xine, Itunes, UI....etc would defintely make this a must have if isn't already for me.

Though I'd still prefer a PMP-Mod AVC plugin of some sorts. The only thing the XMB player would have is HE-AAC playback
...Just wanna know - is there a link which lists the updates?
Cause although THIS update is great, it has no purpose for me.
