The PSP videophiles may want to hear this heads-up, as we announce the latest update to Madruscoe's (aka moneytoo) PMP Mod AVC. Given that the app is a favorite for guys running on AVC converted files, we thought you'd be happy to hear this bit of news, which also makes mention of the new tweaks made to make v1.02M-K easier and faster to work with.
- Added directory support
- Changed scrolling in filelist is a bit optimized (faster)
- Changed left (analogue pad) = go parent directory (..)
- Changed for speed (cpu) change hold R trigger and press L trigger (to avoid accidental press)

Do I need this in order to play pmp files? I upgraded from 3.03OE-A to 3.10OE-A because I thought a max resolution player had been added that supported 480 resolution.
3.10 oe does have max resolution support using mp4s
Make PMP support at least LC-AAC for god's sake! And make it support 48000 khz. If you convert from high quality 48000khz down to crappy MP3 and change the samplerate to 44.100 khz, it sounds crap and you're destroying a lot of the audio data.
Please make PMP support AAC and 48000khz sample rate. Then it will be the best!

One of the greatest advantages of this player is that is plays files at 120MHz. using 48 KHz audio streams will require an increase in processsing power.
So no, we don't really want that...
