Modsyn has released v0.4 of his pMEnc application designed to convert video files for use with either jonny's PMP Mod or psplayermt. This version has many new features to compensate for the release of v2.00 of PMP Mod, plus some extra features for further customization of your output files! To quote modsyn himself "pMEnc is aimed at users with little or no video encoding experience with the goal of making high resolution videos for the psp a breeze."

Here's whats new:

• drag n' drop: drop a file onto the window or onto pmenc.exe
• batch mode: create xml batch files (either by hand or generated with the provided program)
• target resolution: can encode for resolutions other than the psp (for .avis/dvd rips)
• PMP Mod v2 support: now comes standard with pmp_muxer for PMP Mod v2

Bug fixes:

• error in video crop calculation corrected.

This is a pre-release, so there may be a few bugs. If you get any errors installing or running this program, it's probably because you don't have the latest version of Java installed. Check the Sun website for updates.

I can't actually get this to work. I don't know if it's encoding or just stuck...

Really, I was able to create a .PMP but it aint working with PMPplayer.
