PSP Homebrew - Image 1PSP homebrew developer TotalNoob has released an application that, at first may seem tiny and simple, but is actually still quite useful in its own right. MusicHold allows you to activate the shoulder buttons and Volume buttons of the PSP to control the music's volume, even if it's on hold mode.

Changelog for MusicHold v0.1:
  • If you press HOME and START in hold modus, then will enabled the L,R,Vol+ and Vol- buttons
This application has already been tested on a PSP Phat running 5.00 M33-3. If you need to contact TotalNoob for questions or suggestions, you may visit the forums, as linked below.

Already, TotalNoob's promised a second version for this app, one which will allow you to use the Volume buttons (and just the Volume buttons) instead of the shoulders, as suggested by SuperBatXS in the forums.

i tried it, worked fine using L, R, +, -, but when i tried to un-hold my psp froze, would be fine for it to work like Hold+ preventing to accidentally put the psp to sleep
