PimpStreamer v1.0 - better 3.xx support

Not long after the beta update, PSP homebrew developer DickyDick1969 released the PimpStreamer version 1.0. This version adds a lot of improvements to the Sony PlayStation Portable application, like better support for 3.xx firmwares and  fully graphical fast scrolling fonts.

PimpStreamer v1.0 comes in an executable installer file (Windows format), so it shouldn't take much effort other than following instructions to install. If you get it to work, you'll enjoy better streaming than previous versions, and notice less energy consumption when listening to MP3 audio files. There's also the DNS lookup feature.

Those running on 1.50 firmware can use the old PMP_MOD-based version which will be installed along with v1.0. The latest version of PimpStreamer is not based on PMP_MOD and it's made from scratch according to the developer, but has the functions available from previous releases of the app.

For whatever reason when I downloaded this file it showed up as 14897_PiMPStream erSetup1.0.msi.doc but it's definitively not a MS doc so, I tried dnlding from pimpware.org and it was fine weird huh..

yeah, for some reason every .msi file from here is downloaded as a php file. Windows recognizes the summary stream information and grabs it as a .msi.doc. weird

WTF, when i download, the filename gets: 14897_PiMPStream erSetup1.0.msi.doc.part



If you get this to, rename it to 14897_PiMPStream erSetup1.0.msi then open it with Windows
