PicoozIR v4 for PSP - Image 1

Have you heard of the Picoo Z toy helicopter model? Yes, that one with infrared capabilities. If you could recall from a few months back, developer pacopad turned the Sony PlayStation Portable into that toy's remote control with the homebrew app, picoozIR. Flying was a bit iffy then, but not anymore, thanks to picoozIR's version 4 and its new flying engine.

Homebrew coder pacopad made sure that the toy won't have any awkward movements with a rebuilt flying engine. Here are the complete integrated changes from pacopad's readme:
  • New gfx interface
  • New flying engine, no more cutting during the flight
  • Add of the Picooz SkyChallengers support
  • English interface
There are still bugs however as observed by pacopad. The Fire function may not work at all times. Likewise, picoozIR may have some issue when an mp3 file is played while the homebrew app is operating. Be sure to check the readme before anything else.

Wont start

I'm on 3.90-3, and i couldnt get this started in game/game150 or game380 folders... any ideas? Thanks

Well

I think that's because 3.70+ firmwares do not have the sircs.prx. You might have to downgrade to 3.52 M33 for it to work.

yes they do

I've got 3.90-3 as well, and it does have sircs.prx. The problem you're having is you have the PSP running with the 3.90 kernel, once I switched to 1.50 kernel it worked fine. If you haven't got the 1.50 kernel patch, download it from dark-alex.org
