Sony PSP MyPSP v4.4.3 - Image 1Italian homebrew developer ccpspita has been doing a great job on his Sony PlayStation Portable robotics project. It was just recently when he refined the pattern recognition and optical flow of MyPSP Robotics. The next logical progression in development therefore was adding in face recognition.

He has just released MyPSP Robotics v4.4.3 which now integrates facial recognition into the program. In addition, it also implements the OpenMind Database as a knowledge base.

The creator of the program pointed out that the facial recognition in the program is not completely reliable as of yet. Regardless, this is an exciting development in the robotics program and could potentially open doors to even more functions that a future PSP robot will be able to perform.

If you plan on downloading the application, be advised that it is not for inexperienced PlayStation Portable users. Even if you know what you're doing, be sure to go over all the documentation included with the compressed file to prevent any problems.
