That's right: MyPSP Robotics is now at version 4.4.2, and its minor jump from the previously released version 4.4.1 is because of its revamped sample set for flexing project's MyEye capabilities. PSP homebrew developer ccpspita's newly added feature, thanks to Intel's OpenCV library, is now in beta testing phase to finalize the software set of the Sony PlayStation Portable prototype.

Aside from improving the recognition algorithms for the MyEye module, ccpspita also managed to optimize the code of the MyEye implementation. While this doesn't guarantee that the new build will not lock up your trusty PSP Slim & Lite, it allows the latest MyPSP Robotics version to run on the PSP Fat - even while the execution of certain modules still needs the spacious memory space of the Slim.

MyPSP Robotics version 4.4.2 is completely functional at this point, and the MyEye capability can be run and executed with proper preparation for image capture. Those capable of integrating a camera using the included drivers (the PRX plugins) can smoothen the beta test phase if they provide feedback on AI latency and responsiveness and AI recognition accuracy.

The file archive sits at a relatively heavy 7.8 MB, and like previous builds it also includes special instructions for the MyPSP Robotics to function properly. Owners of the original, non-Slim PSPs are welcome to test the new build and provide feedback where necessary. The Italian developer encourages users to course through the readme for detailed installation instructions before running the application.
