PSPLive v1.01 from fard0che - Image 1

Homebrew developer fard0che just released a program known as PSPLive and it has all the potential to change the face of homebrew games for the PlayStation Portable. Basically, this tool serves as a Lobby for multiplayer games allowing users to see the various people connected to the game.

Aside from that, PSPLive v1.01 also lets players share maps and host for each game among others. However, take note that this is not a stand-alone program. To make this easier, you can think of it as an engine which developers can integrate into their homebrew games.

fard0che shared that PSPLive v1.01 currently supports up to 20 players in one go but theoretically, the number can be unlimited. This is really exciting development and we can't wait to see what future homebrew games will be using this tool. If you want to integrate this into your projects, you can contact the developer through our "Via" link below.

And in case you want to see just the "lobby" itself, please take note that you should be on firmware 1.5 before installing the program on your PSP units.

It is for Lua, I like Lua as I use it a lot but I rather see this for C++ so we can get SmashGpsp online.

This is a compiled lua app which is probably very unstable. OH AND DEVS CANNOT INTEGRATE A COMPILED SCRIPT INTO THEIR GAMES. Oh and it's lua so no, this will not do jack **** for emulators.

Is CSPSP a lua game??

I have test it and this is awsome

If this game is a Lua game.. then yes it could be working using PSPLive

Ok more then 2 player over the infrastructure will need a lot of work but this could be pretty nice

this is for LUA GAME on psp.. no c, c++ or retail game

thank

so does this work on the most recent custom firmware (3.40 oe-a). And im guessing this only works for games that are homebrew made not ones that are official and sold through Sony.

No this won't work on official games, just homebrew games coded in Lua as far as I can tell.
