This PSP homebrew application, MP3PP or MP3Player_Plugin, is a VSH/GAME MP3 playback app. From what we can gather in the translated site, this is certified to work with PSP-2000 CFW 4.01 M33-2. Although, there have also been reported operations on the following:

• PSP-1000 (CFW3.90M33-2)
• PSP-1000 (CFW3.90M33-3)
• PSP-2000 (CFW3.90M33-3)
• PSP-1000 (CFW4.01M33-2)

Here's the changelog for v1.20 (from our limited understanding of Google-translated Japanese):

• space was caused by some bugs fixed.

Well it works good, I like that you can mute the game sound. But when you quit a UMD game and try to go back to the xmb it just hangs in the home screen. :( Also my is a psp-1000 cfw 4.01 M33-2.
