Melody v1.0.4: now with bugfixes playlist & MyRating functions - Image 1

Homebrew developer Xart has come out with Melody v1.0.4. For those of you unfamiliar with this application, it is an MP3 player derived from the embedded MP3 player in Choice Beta 1.5.

This latest version fixes a few of the more troublesome bugs that were found in its previous release. The Playlist and MyRating which was not working due to the update on the ID3 parser has now been fixed, meaning that this program should now be working without a hitch.

If you've been using an older release, it is advisable that you upgrade to this version. If you do decide to try this homebrew out, be sure to go over the readme document included in the zip file before doing anything to avoid any problems.

Seems to be fine now

All appears to work well on this release, I just wish someone would replace the XMB music player with one like this that gave out a bit more volume.

OGG Support?

Does this media player support anything other than mp3, like ogg files for example?

ogg

change the extention of the ogg file to .wav format, then just convert to mp3. I tried this and it works great :)
