Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew news and download: MapThis! mod - Image 1A modified version of Deniska's MapThis!, a Global Positioning navigation tool for the PSP, has been released by homebrew developer Art.

The mod has three specific changes to the program, including one that set the auto load option to always be active. Here are the rest of the changes for MapThis! v0.5.20 mod v1.00/1.50:
  • Startup Splashscreen is not shown.
  • Map named "_Default" is always auto loaded at startup reguardless of config setting.
  • HOME button can be used to exit.
Art explains that the auto load option was set to be permanently active because "the startup map option appeared to me to be broken." Art also notes to: "make sure you name your most often used map to "_Default", then you can select other maps later as usual with the SELECT button." Check out the readme for more info.

To install the mod, you will have to install MapThis! v0.5.20, which you can download below. After installing, you will then need to replace the Eboot.PBP file with the one provided in the mod.
