Map This! v0.461S beta |
Ó

Deniska's just released the first Map This! beta homebrew that supports the original Sony GPS receiver "PSP-290". In the event that you actually have the said original GPS accessory, then this is one homebrew app you've probably been waiting for. Check out the features for Map This! v0.461S below:
- GPS info screen with satellite data
- Screen rotation in map mode
- Trip reset option added to menu. Trip data does not get reset when you switch to map mode.
- Fixed a bug in TRACK UP mode. (should not switch the mode when approaching to map's boundaries.
If you don't know how to map this out on your PSP, check out the readme file included. It's got all the installation instructions and other notes that you'll be needing.

i see it for 60 dollar us , it would work around the US rite ?
yep, it should work for US, Canada, most of Europe, India, Japan, Singapure, Australia, some parts of Africa and South America. Check google/msn maps for cooverage of your particular area..
nice work man!! i'll buy a PSP GPS reciever after u do couple update and got it stablized :)
how would one go about getting aussie maps?
OMG. I'm so proud of my psp right now!! Better take my psp with me in holydays. Now i wont get lost.
where can i get the usbacc.prx & usbgps.prx from, i've been hunting the net for the last hour
any1 tried it?
Nice work man!! I've been waiting to buy a GPS for psp for the longest time but I wanted to wait for the official US release so I could buy it with the Map UMD it comes with... but if you work out the few more bugs on this, I'm definately gonna just import one! Awesome, keep it up!
i hope sony do this well..it will be the cheapest multi-functional GPS on the market.. but knowing them they will ***** it up like the camera.. come on sony im willing to buy one..bing it to the UK..make sure its good, cheap and do some good advertising..i will be there!!
Seems play-asia doesn't send the GPS to the EU, phooey for me. Looks good so far, and as someone said, once it's stabilised, I can see myself using it.
Anybody tried it on 1.5 firmware? I don't know if this one uses some library from 3.03 so we have to update necessarily to 3.03 oe..
you have to get it from the firmware update?..
i was waiting for the day you were gonna supoprt the official GPS addon, now i can buy one! thx! =D PSP's Homebrew community rocks!
Is this prog works with the mod with the GPSlim 236 what you described in http://pspupdates.qj.net/Jazz-Up-Your-PSP-with-GPS/pg/49/aid/59709 thanx so much
Does this work with Sony's 3.03?
hey can anyone say if it works with the holux gps slim 236 coz i just spent around $150 AUD on getting the thing pus cableing and stuff and aobut 2 days worth of time!!! come on why cant you tell us Deniska.... please!!!
I think this version is specifically for the official sony PSP GPS unit. Check Deniska's site for info, you will be right with that GPS unit.
