Mac Beta eLoader 0.9.7 Installer for Mac OS X |
Ó
If you have an Apple running Mac OS X 10 and a PSP, you will be delighted with this homebrew application posted by developer Delight1. The Mac Beta eLoader 0.9.7 installer allows you to install eLoader, to get around the limitations put in place with the latest firmware (except 2.70) by using your Apple computer.Put the eloader 0.9.7 folder at the root of the memory stick and you can run the installer from anywhere by just double clicking on it. In the first dialog box, type or copy paste the exact name of the psp/stick. From there it will ask what GTA save game you want and if you want the utilities for windows. If you encounter any problems or have some questions, you can let Delight1 know by posting them at the release thread.

hecka sweeet!! first post, now i'm officially cool ;)
w000t! awesome!!
jesus, this is so pointless
are mac owners really that thick that they can put a few folders on a psp, they need a installer to do it for them. i cant believe qj.net has even made a story about this. its quite obviously nothing
i could make several installers that put this and a snes and a megadrive emu on yer psp. but do i?
no i dont cos it aint my homebrew to be redistributin, and i aint such a glory hogg that id put my name to it
unlike Delight1
in the artical there aint even a mention of the real peeps behind this
it shud at least say the eloader by fanjita and ditlew!!
anyway, nuf bout this artical
cant believe i wasted my time readin it
Because lots of people (including me) requested it.
A large number of both Mac owners and PC owners ARE too thick to do this for themselves. That's evident in the number of questions we get via email, the forums and the IRC channel.
The amount of questions (and therefore time we (and other kind souls) had to spend answering them) dropped dramatically when we released the PC auto-installer - which I bet you've used at some point, rather than being all "hard-core" and using the ZIP.
Releasing something similar for Mac means that again, more people get a better experience from PSP homebrew, and those that do know how to install stuff don't have to spend forever explaining it over and over again. I'm all for that.
I'm very glad that Delight1 has stepped up to the plate and done this, we'd been asking for someone with Mac expertise to consider it for some time.
Let me know how it goes, if the reports are favourable (and if Delight1 agrees) we'll roll it up into the official release process / web pages.
fair enough
to be honest i just thort he was tryin to steal ya thunder
and btw matey ive never used a auto installer for any piece o homebrew.
tbh i dont trust em. id rather know what im puttin where. altho i do know the need for em as ive released a few mods myself for gta (pc version) and explainin to peeps how to install is a pain in the jaxy
I didn't realize that mac users had the iq to even realize the psp was capable of homebrew in the first place..seriously all five of you need to learn how to copy files on your own..i found the auto installers more difficult then doing it by hand...and also...hope you mac users are enjoying half life...wait a minute it has been ten years andd you still havent played it yet while us pc users played the hell out of it ten years ago and currently use it to prop up the short leg of our coffee tables... sad
he? he? i'm a he now? since when!!! I a girl, female, you here? and die you mac haters!
Pretty nice for people that use macs, but its not like mac users were unable to install homebrew or the eloader beforehand. You still have to put a file on to the memory stick so it doesn't really make things much more simple. I think if they could put a file on the memory stick, they could put a file in a subfolder (if not, they need to learn).

enjoy
thx for the mac version
fanjita. Do you think u will get an xbox 360? since its been hacked..do u think u can get a hello world running on it? Im waiting til we can run homebrew on it b4 i buy one
#4: i DONT believe this. Mac users shouldnt need this i agree but you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Mac users are the smart people. People who use windows work hours after hours on one dumb problem (Wonder where all the noobs come from) which requires a simple check box or virus update.
Mac users dont get much of this. Its all placed in the right places and viruses are very low.
#6: WTF are you on? You windows users got the installer first and still complain it doesnt work. You are right mac users dont need this installer as the memory stick is mounted on the desktop. People like you should actually go and use OSX before anything is said.. Us mac users just pee on you guys not u peeing on us. Ask any noob what OS they are using and guarenteed it will be windows.
Technically apples are cheaper than PCs these days
www.apple.com/xx/macbook - (remove /xx for US. Add your country code into the xx box ie. AU = Australia, NZ = New Zealand and so on.)
Try to find a 2.00 Ghtz core duo Laptop with the same price or lower (must have wireless, bluetooth, same HDD, same RAM etc) you wont find one that matches that price
Anyway getting back on topic.
Good stuff with the loader but i feel its not necessary as all mac users are ubber smart.
You are the newb not me. R Kelly uses Linux on his desktop and it pisses allover osx.. osx is a slow and buggy piece of *****.. it is actually slower then winxp.. but not quite as buggy... mac's are over prieced and underpowered.. they have limited software availability which is why i stick with linux and other unix variants(beside s osx) The loader is for retards anyway. if you use it you are a retard and i piss on you... besides R Kelly is rich *****!!!!
there are no viruses for macs. my pc gets blue screen of death, mystery programs running in background. if you get both you'll understand why macs are better. windows sucks and i wonder why you look at this if you dont use mac. if youre so smart figure how to downgrade 2.01 to 1.5
People who piss on MAC are JEALOUS.
OSX rocks as Linux and are much powered than lasies PC.
I ***** on you MAC haters.
