LightMP3 v1.4.1 - Image 1

PSP homebrew developer sakya has released a new version of his mp3 player application LightMP3. For those who haven't heard of it, LightMP3 is a resource-light MP3 player application for your PSP. Using the app, you can stretch the battery life of your PSP for up to 11 hours while listening to music on it.

In the case of LightMP3 v1.4.1, this new version is mostly a bugfix of the previous release. The notable addition to LightMP3 here, however, is the ability to turn on your USB connection through the program. Here's the changelog for more details:
  • Added (user request): in the file browser you can activate USB (press SELECT)
  • Fixed: display didn't turn on (if turned off with START) when playlist or directory finish.
  • Fixed: bug if you're using mp3s without ID3 (or only ID3v2). --> Error opening file
  • Fixed: shuffle. Now pressing L will go back to previous track
We highly recommend using this application if you love listening to music on your PSP. Just turn off the display, set your player to just keep playing songs, and you're all set for some relaxing tunes for however long you want to listen. Enjoy!

Awesome!

I love Dream Theater! And "Metropolis, Pt. I" is a miracle in music.

.

What can you do with the USB on? Also, this would be great if it had fast forward and rewind. It seems perfect otherwise.
