Learn how to code on the go with ProgramLua |
Ó
Access_Denied and Appleseed629 (thanks for the tip) have unveiled a brand new Lua tutorial system that you can study on your PSP, meaning that you can learn to code in the popular PSP coding format with no experience necessary at any time in any place! ProgramLua has a whole host of Lua programming tutorials packed into a 6MB WinRaR archive just waiting to be sent to your PSP. It's all you need to get started and have your coding skills honed to perfection; who knows, your veins may be tinged with the blood of Dark_Alex, Fanjita, NJ, zx-81 and the rest of the more popular developers out there.
And it doesn't stop there, Access_Denied and Appleseed629 will continue to release upcoming add-ons and expansion packs for the program, enabling you to have a text editor and read downloaded tutorials from within the program. They will also upload new tutorials so that you can continue reading through series of tutorials so you're never short of reading material. ProgramLua has been made into 1.0 and 1.5 EBOOTS so you don't even have to have Lua Player installed on your PSP to run it.
No need to pierce your skin and look for the coder's blood, just give this program and go and start learnin'.

We'll try. We've been working very hard on this, so... hope you guys like it!
CooooL Thanks guys! I'll give it a try.. better like C though.. :)
A tutorial like this for writing non LUA eboots would be the only addition I would suggest, but untill then I have alot to keep myself busy. It's funny, just earlier today I was wondering if this sort of thing was out there. Good thing i checked the site today. Access_Denied and Appleseed629 you guys are great.
Like the title says, thanks. We'll be working on it as best as we can to improve it.

1st post RETARDS. stop doing it.
I´m can code somewhat in Lua. Might be able to pick up some pointers off this. Worth dl´ ing to check it out. Converting a lua program into an eboot is a trick I would also like to learn. Thanks for the app/tutorial.
To know what will be coming next, visit the upcoming Dark Reaper Studios (Access_Denied and my homebrew studios) website. It should be done tomorrow. Also, if you would like to see the latest versions, please visit www.pspnetworkonline.com. See ya later!
nobody did the first post thing in this thread except for you... i dont think people even look for them before complaining anymore. By the way, Thanks for posting in the comments appleseed it's nice when the devs actually tell you what is going on. I just finished reading the first 4 lessons of the tutorial and it's great stuff. I will definately be checking for updates. One thing, the first lesson in the tutorial says something about a windows LUA player being included with the download, but I think you forgot to pack it because there are only PSP side files and a readme in the .rar file
Yeah, we forgot to put the luaplayer for windows in the download. If someone really needs help finding it, they can: 1.Google 2.Post Here 3.Post in the forums when they are back up
Hey guys do you have any plans of making one of these for C++? (I sure hope you do...powerful language, C++ is.)
No, we do not plan on making any C++ ones in the near future. But kozine is thinking about making some.
it says theres a crc error on the eboot.
Access_Denied and I would like to thank the producers... nah, just kiddin. The people we wish to thank are SG57, jsharrad, PSPhax0r9, and all the others who helped make the program free of bugs. Thank you! -#19: If it says that error, either turn off your antivirus programs, as they might mistake the files as a virus. If it still does that, download it again. -#15: We will package it inside the next versions, as we forgot them since we were hurrying. Also, we have spotted some mistakes in the tutorials. We will fix them in the next version, which should come out by the end of this month. Thanks for all your support!
