Learn French with Bonjour v1.0 - The French Teacher |
Ó
The PSP isn't just a portable gaming device, it's a veritable swiss knife of technology. You can listen to music with it, watch movies on it, surf the internet on it - and with Bonjour v1.0 from placo23, it's a convenient learning tool to get you acquainted with another country's language. Handy!
So, what does Bonjour v1.0 do? Teach you how to speak French, of course! With a plethora of phrases, sentences and words to get you through almost any situation where you simply must commune in the French language, or risk making a fool out of yourself with charades, Bonjour v1.0 will have you speaking the vernacular of Paris in no time flat.
Here's an excerpt from the readme file, unedited and presented as is:
This is a release for those interested in the French language. As an expat from UK here in Belgium, I'm having to learn this language. It's pretty straight forward, but I guess a helper like this comes just fine. Here you'll find the most used words and phrases separated by categories such as sentences to be used in restaurants, shops etc.
The controls for Bonjour v1.0 are as follows: X lets you listen to a reading of the word selected, pressing any direction on the D-pad scrolls through the words, left trigger and right trigger scrolls through word categories. Simple and intuitive, right?
Kudos to placo23 for proving yet again that handhelds are not just gaming devices, they can help one's intellectual maturity as well. Just remember to read the readme first, okay? Enjoy!

cool i guess maybe french can be my third language :D
French is kinda hard to learn, it's much more than words.... you have complex syntax. À plus tard les gars!
I've been waitin for this 4eva, i used to speak it fluently till i was like 7, but english over powerd, and now i wanna take it again, so i gotta get caught up....Merci boocu Placo 23!
French can go and suck it. I would rather watch Epileptic Gaming. eg.ggl.com
The best language tutorials I ever had were called the Linkword Language System, they were fun, easy, and cheap. The CD-Rom came with lessons to learn 12 languages, each would teach 600 words and grammar in 20 hours. The first time I got the CD it was free, then it broke and was only $18 to replace it. I used it to learn French German and Japanese. (no Japanese writing of course)
I'm going to Quebec soon and this'll definitely help me!
