Homebrew coder neur0n has released a new app called LCFW 6.39ME-2 installer for OFW6.39. The readme doesn't mention what the "L" stands for (Lite?) but this is an LCFW installer for use with PSP firmware 6.39. As of now, this works on 01g ,02g , 03g, 04g, 07g and 09g models. The PSPGo, or 05g, is not supported.
Neur0n has been pretty fast with the updates on this one, so if you look through the QJ.NET downloads site there are already four of these babies on there. This particular release is the one that's finally out of beta, though. It comes with a Recover Menu which can be accessed through the following actions:
- From LCFW: Execute "639 launcher" again.
- From OFW: Execute "639 launcher" with hold "R"

Sadly I don't have a PSP-3000 but this proves neur0n and his team can do anything when they have their mind set on it!
