you will nee to format MS

You will need a newly formatted Memory Stick. I suggest saving whatever you have on your computer, then format your MS and then follow the directions. once you are done installing, copy the folders back to your memory stick, but make sure you don't delete anything. Peace!

I can't download this 3.02 devhook with ease thing. Whenever I try to click the button, it refreshes the page. Can someone PLEASE help me, I was trying all day yesterday to do it with the 3.01 deownload button, and i had no luck.

the only way to fix the x/o button switching is to use a non-japanese FW update. wait, there aren't any right now? I guess you'll just have to deal with the button swap until an update is released for eur/US or emulate an older FW until then. I suppose you could so some .rco editing, but they are probably encrypted.... i guess it is possible to switch them back to "normal" but not very easily

You should have read before updating buddy. I am now devhooking on my 2.71 (TA-082). When I bought it it had no homebrew, not even the hello world thing. I just had to wait patiently :3

Online Does not work?

First of all, good job, this made my life easier... but I find that the online is not working while running 3.02. When i'm on 1.5, I can scan for my router just fine, but while emulating 3.02 I get the error of: "An internal error has occurred(80410D17)". Hope you can find a fix to this... Thx

Devhook first

Ok. Here's what you've to do: - Copy all devhook 0.51 folders to your root that will be fmb, PSP, DH - place the v3.02 in the MS_Root of you Ms and make it so that it's called: eboot.pbp - Place the easy installer in the folder: x(that's your PSP)/PSP/Game/ that will be 2 different folders. - Now go out USB mode and go to Devhook installer open it and press'cross' that's all i hope this will help:)

ok this may sound ssooo nooob, but i need help I copied the 2 folders (sce_3.02_dh_installer and %sce_3.02_dh_installer) in the game folder, and the 21MB eboot file on the ms root. then I booted and run the applications and pressed X to start, then an error appears after approx 5 sec. saying "extracting PSAR ....! Done ! Failed to create report file Stick may be full or can't create OUT folder." any help ? thanks in advance

sony released 3.02 with so called security updates,but they are really bug fixes.in case you didnt hear,3.01 was also a security update,but it was a bug fix.All of the new functions have some bugs,so sony is fixing them with new firmwares(duh how the hell else do you expect them to fix it)

Japanese PlayStations use O as their main button and US uses X, and this is the Japanese firmware. it's just the way it is.

I keep getting "Failed to create report file Stick may be full or can't create OUT folder." I've got plenty of space on the memory stick, I've tried formatting it, and using 2 other memory sticks.

How much space do you have?

Well, it depends on what you mean by "plenty of space on the memory stick" IF you are using 32MB, I doubt it will work. Try a bigger memory stick at least 64MB. Good luck

I tried launching the eboot using hen-d and eboot loader but none of them will work. I have a TA-082. Is there some other way i can do it?

Before you go extracting the files extract DH v0.51 and then DH v.0.51 with 3.02 menu because else you don not have a out folder because that is inside the DH v0.51 with 3.02 i hope i helped you enough with this. BTW there is a F*cking guide step by step just a little higher.

PSafeP reports "suspicious flash activity" when scanning this installer. Don't believe me? Download PSafeP and try it yourself. Now I doubt it wrote anything because I used it with SE-C and if it wrote anything to the already limited flash space, my psp wouldn't be workiing right now, and it is. However, I'm re-installing the firmware just in case.

xfloortjuhx, your guide was misleading, you dont extract anything to the MS_Root folder, You just have to extract everything to the root of the memorystick..... I dont know why these archive are compress inside the MS_ROOT folder. You dont need the MS_ROOT folder --

you just delete the registry files in F1(flash 1) then turn off your psp (stand-by) and turn it bak on a message will appear wiv a blue background. press cirle some settings will come u choose english ..etc and it should work!!!
