Indigo 2.0 brings the kaching

Can your PSP handle this level of BIG?

It must be a Helvetian thing, perhaps, for products from that region of Europe to come in big, strong packages. Zeron certainly proved that one with his Indigo package that is no wilting flower. 1.3 alone had a ton of programs, PSP OSs, HTML games, Flash games, and Flash movies, you'd wonder why the thing isn't on a UMD (or that it deserved a free Memory Stick of its own).

Well, it only gets beefier in Indigo 2.0, he tells us. Containing the programs of the 1.3, not to mention some of the skins of the Ultimate update (ooh, an Adriana Lima skin!), and then some. We're just going to post the full list of available features of 2.0 after the jump, but we're looking at the addition of RSS feeds, movie feeds, an MP3 player, and tools like yongobongo's PSP-messenger that allows your PSP to chat with AIM, MSN, YM, and so forth, all the way to SMS, even. You've got to admit: Zeron's Indigo 2.0 really brings the kaching!

And the kaching comes in three packages: Pro, Standard, and Mini, and will work with all firmware PSPs - use the latest DevHook with web browser functionality for 1.0/1.5, and use the web browser found in 2.0 up (although some features might not be available if using firmware lower than 2.70). Yes, this will also work in 2.71 SE and 3.02 OE custom firmware.

Download links below take you off-site to Rapidshare links - do remember that even on Mini, these are rather hefty files to download into your PC (the installation program), and install into your PSPs. And if you have any questions, do drop a line here in the comments. Zeron may come around to help you out. And don't forget the Readme!

can use in 3.02 OEB?

by Geez - 2007-01-01 15:29
» ...seriously...

"Yes, this will also work in 2.71 SE and 3.02 OE custom firmware. "

My gosh why can't people learn to read.

Notice how it's always the users with numbered, non-capitalized names, and lacking any sense of grammatical structure.

by ClearTranquil - 2007-01-01 15:39
» Whoops.

Guess I took too long to type that.

Now wasn't that just foolish.

On another note, the standard installation for this program needs 100mb of free space. Now that's hefty. I think I'll be going through them all and deleting the ones I won't use.

What is indigo?

by A Tester - 2007-01-01 17:13
» hmm?

I installed the fullversion that needs about 140-ish MB of space, took forever to install since it has to copy each file one by one, and theres about 500 files.

When i started it up in my browser it just took me to a blank black page, waited a bit but nothing happend.

I uninstalled this, again taking around 15 minutes to uninstall(again psp deletes files one by one).

After that i reinstalled and still have the Black black page. dont know whats wrong, yes i installed it correctly in the root of my psp and yes i went to file:/indigo/index.htm to start it.

I don't know the problem you're having but I'm also having a problem. I can get it to run but after clicking about two things it pops up with "Not enough memory" and freezes the page. I clear my cookies and cache and I can restart the page but another 2 clicks later and the same message pops up.

I also looked at the stuff it came with and I wasn't too impressed. I feel it's better to just get the stuff you really need in the form of an EBOOT instead of getting a package (consisting of 70% stuff you won't even use) that takes up 100mb of space on a memory stick you're trying to fit PSX games on.

» waste of time

web browser portals are not good. I hate them because crappy games and slow loading I Just use normal games from xmb like ps1 games and isos screw indigo and any other portal because is just a waste of space on your memory stick.

by zeron - 2007-01-01 23:50
» TO DO

before using Indigo please check these settings:

- Do not use a cache

- delete your old cache

(- delete your cookies)

- Check out if theres enough space on your memorystick

- chick this link:

file:/indigo/index.htm

- If the first link don't work, try this one

file:/indigo/blue/index.htm

by Richard Carr - 2007-01-14 09:56
» Terrible

Unlike the rest of you tards who don't know how to open up a read me and get all the proper instructions from it, i got it working right away. But wow, what a waste of time. It took forever to install it, and was everything on it ever slow. All the games have terrible lag, and all the apps as well. There is no "msn" support it's all just off of ebuddy with an ugly skin around it. All in all, it's a waste. Don't get it. Stick with getting emulaters for your homebrew. I regret upgrading to 3.03 so i'll have to wait. but homebrew is fast at least.
