Even though DevHook has been struggling with some legal problems, people like Saturne_1606 continue to show support and some loving for this very controversial, much-talked-about, double-edged application. He's just released a mod dubbed DevHook vShex Mod v0.3. If Saturne_1606's name rings a bell, it's because he also developed the Devhook 0.46 Plugin that allows users to reboot to 1.5 without having to turn off your PSP.
Features:
- Disable auto-mount (you will boot straight to XMB even if you are in 333mhz)
- Back to 1.5 with HOME+Start.
- A first launch of skin support
To use it, just add these lines (if they donÂ’t exist) in your pspbtcnf.txt:
- #vsh extender
- ms0:/dh/kd/vshex/sat_xml.prx
- ms0:/dh/kd/vshex.prx

For the moment, only the beacons InfoDisc and CPU are treated. The parameter “left” corresponds to the site of the first character. The parameter “signal” corresponds to the site of the higher limit in pixels. The parameter “width” corresponds to the numbers of characters displayable. The parameters “color” corresponds to the color of the text in héxadécimale AABBVVRR where A=Alpha, B=Bleu, V=Vert, R=Rouge The Alpha channel is not supported yet.
History of the versions: ======================== 0.3: - Support (still precarious) of skins - Desactivation of the automatic launching of the emulated ISO - Support of the material reboot by emulating firmwares 2.00, 2.50 and 2.60 - Support of the material reboot by emulating firmware 2.71 Note: ===== The material reboot does not function with the emulation of the firmware 1.50 bus it does not have the adequate function. The desactivation of the autoboot does not function during the emulation of a real UMD. Does anybody else use the DevHook where you can change ISOs from the XMB? Anybody know why it doesn't work anymore after installing this mod?
