Chunglam, in his letter, informed us of an update to his DevHook GUI Launcher Mod (TheBuzzer) inspired DevHook Launcher/VSHEX Mod 1.63.
If you're new to this application, we suggest that you check out the mini-FAQ text file first, for complete instructions on installation, reconfiguring emulated firmware and an easy to follow how to use guide.
Since v1.62b, here are the latest additions to the application.
Changelog:
- Dual-mode Launcher for fw1.50 and fw2.71 with HEN_C (Missing features for fw2.71 version: Flash Rom menu and background image support)
- Updated all language files, please re-select your language.
- Auto patch msreboot.bin for fw2.71(NANDFlash) emulation mode.
- Added menu to select Devhook 0.45 for fw1.50 emulation mode.
- Updated CW CHEAT to version 0.1.5
- Added option to enable/disable HEN_C for DEVHOOK under "ADD-ON MENU", default is disabled.
- Added battery percentage indicator.
- Added default cover file for games without cover

love this launchermod! best ever!
Damn I was scrolling fast and saw Get It Now: Devhook.... thinking a new one from booster supporting 2.8/1. This is still also good for my collection.

Can someone tell us more about this devhook for us TA-082 people who are not familiar with this VSHEX DevHook launcher? Can this thing brick the PSP At all? I installed it and so far it looks good, but there are many options in the "MOre Options" and the "ADDON MENU" menu's..but i'm not sure what they are for and I dont want to risk running them (maybe it can brick my psp?) I'm not sure people. So can someone kindly tell us about each of this mod's features and whether or not it can brick TA-082 psp's at all? I'd really appreciate it, thanks! :)

for some reason when I switch to 2.71 using this my x button doesn't sem to work???? can somebody help me out????

Whens devhook gonna be on 2.8.. i was dumb enough to update, now theres only tiff games and no offense but there pretty *****ty
So I emailed Fanjita at their website, and I got FAQ e-mail back, here's one that i found interesting: Q: When will ... be released? A: When it's ready. :) For a kernel version of eLoader : no estimate available. We're working really hard on it, don't panic. For a version of eLoader for v2.7 - v2.8 homebrew : we're not working on this. Those firmware versions don't really add any useful features, so it doesn't seem worthwhile to waste an exploit on making homebrew work there. We'd rather wait, and hack a worthwhile firmware upgrade. Also, remember that almost everyone with 2.7 or above voluntarily upgraded, and were warned of the risks - at this point of time PSPs are still shipping with 2.6 firmware, and no games require 2.7. For downgraders for v2.7+ : I have no idea. I'm not actively working on one. They may not even be possible, almost certainly not by using GTA. So they're not even working on a 2.8 eLoader.
