Q: When will ... be released?
A: When it's ready. :)
For a kernel version of eLoader : no estimate available.
We're working really hard on it, don't panic.
For a version of eLoader for v2.7 - v2.8 homebrew : we're not working on
this.
Those firmware versions don't really add any useful features, so it
doesn't seem
worthwhile to waste an exploit on making homebrew work there. We'd
rather
wait, and hack a worthwhile firmware upgrade. Also, remember that
almost
everyone with 2.7 or above voluntarily upgraded, and were warned of the
risks
- at this point of time PSPs are still shipping with 2.6 firmware, and
no games
require 2.7.
For downgraders for v2.7+ : I have no idea. I'm not actively working on
one. They may
not even be possible, almost certainly not by using GTA.
So they're not even working on a 2.8 eLoader.
