Get an (unfair) advantage with Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron cheat device |
Ó
For those of us who find Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron for the Sony PlayStation Portable a bit too much, then here's something to level the playing field some: a cheat device for the game that lets you change your weapons and equipment, as well as tinker around with your stats. All thanks to PSP homebrew developer Durka Durka Mahn.
So, how do you change your weapons after you've applied this naughty little bit of homebrew? Simple. After installation, each weapon slot will have its own option on the menu, and all one needs to do is to press either right or left to change each option. And if you think that's convenient, Durka Durka Mahn is planning to put in a bit more functionality into the cheat device, namely more interactive options and probably a teleport feature. And as we all know, teleportation is always handy.
In any case, be sure to read the readme file included in the downloadable archive for instructions on how to install it, as well as use it. It's really much safer for your PSP if you do.

Thanks for posting it here, guys!
Seems two years of working with the cheat device by EC finally paid off...I get to make my own now!
Leave it to somebody to come up with a way to
ruin a perfectly good game.
Way to go prick!
The only thing most of these games are good
for is online play and it's punks like you creating
apps like this that ruin the experience for people
wanting to play a game without cheating yet
faces adversary's that do cheat.
Thanks for ruining yet another game ASS HOLE!
I have nothing against people cheating offline, if you want to do that go ahead, but when you're playing against other people online, show some backbone and play without the hacks. This is one of those few things I hope Sony DOES find a way to patch, and I really mean that.
@ Wicked
I didn't mean to make this to ruin the game. It was too make it more fun.
I've decided not to do a teleport cheat and any other infinite ammo, health, etc cheats because that would make the game too hard to play online for those who can't hack.
Besides, other cheat devices NitePR, CheatMaster, etc., can already do this sort of thing. I just threw it into a menu.
...I'd hate for such a great game to have people cheating with it.
I was cool with GTA because it was single player and singleplayer is meant to be enjoyed the way you want it, but I don't want this game to be ruined by possible cheaters.
Actually Sony is too lazy about patching online for the PSP, they would much rather do that on the PS3, thats what they are really afraid of.
I will admit the facts is that Sony doesnt really care about people hacking online on the PSP, they only care if people start hacking online on the PS3 cause thats there money ticket, I mean they do more stuff for the PS3 than the PSP.
Hey thats the truth right there. They will probably not ever patch online cheating on the PSP.
They will do it on the PS3 but not on PSP.
