Gears Of War XMB Theme *UPDATE* |

UPDATE #2: We were contacted by Squid_Lord, one of the creators of this XMB theme. He mentions that he isn't the creator of the main icons, rather they were made by a guy named "optics". Squid_Lord would also want to clarify that he created the font, background, volume bar, and he basically presented the theme idea for wraitalchemist. We just want to give credit where credit is due. We can't get enough of custom XMB themes right now. Ever since the release of the RCO Icon Editor which has made it so much easier to create custom XMB's, just about every PSP developer on the planet has had a go at customizing their PSP, and giving you the option to install their themes yourself. This theme comes from wraithalchemist, and if you haven't guessed yet it's a theme based on the Xbox 360 game Gears of War.
Wraithalchemist doesn't want to take credit for what he hasn't done, as the icons included in this theme come from innercy and squid_lord, with wraithalchemist re-coloring the icons with a red tint to make them resemble Gears of War. I must say, as a bit of a Gears of War fan this theme does bare a striking resemblance to the actual game. Enjoy!

I sent in my POTSTATIONPORTA BLE custom xmb a week ago and have yet to see it posted on the front page with everyone else's. What gives PSPUPDATES? Too controversial?

I'd like to have a copy of that theme for my self. where can I get it from? Do you have it posted on another forum? If not, please do and name it POTSTATIONPORTA BLE so I can find it via Google.
A guy called squidlord on the the forums had a very nice theme for gears of war, the only thing it lacked where the sub icons. He compiled the icons from someone else, the background and the waves, he has a better battery icon and volume bar. And the waves from his set is a hell alot better. I say give that guy some credit too.

its easy i was the first one 2 do but some take along time to do just use icon editor but i frogot witch file it was
credited myself for you icons, no-one ever stepped forward to claim the icons that i had used in the theme, but QJ here misinterpreted the thread, as ME making the icons when i didn't

Hella thanks to the creators of this theme! GoW is my favorite game for the 360...My gamertag is ChoId Punisher, yes that is an i. if you want to add me I will accept. Anyway thanks all who helped I love the PSP and I love Gears of War both on one is the best. Great job on it too said by a true GoW gamer! Peace out everyone keep up the good work, IDK if there is a Halo theme out yet but I'll be looking for a Halo 3 theme. I'm to lazy to make my own lol.

yup, me and my friend are working on that too, it's my 2nd project [he doesn't know how to edit rco's so i'm basically holding his hand on this]
squid_lord didn't make the font. The font came with my computer. It's called "Weltron Urban".
When im playing a game from memory card and exit the background picture will be all scrambled anyone else have this problem is there a way to fix this since i always play from memory card but noticed when i exit from umd dumper it goes back to original
it didn't come with my computer, and i said made in the sense that i converted it
erm... i flashed the topmenu_plugin.rco and now sometimes my PSP crashes and makes a bleeping sound does this mean its bricked at all? (PSP FW 1.5)
the topmenu_plugin.rco is ment for a 2.71/3.01-3.03 PSP, not a 1.50
why use UMD dumper?, it plays ISO's fine from ISO folder on the memstick
