GameMusicGear_MX v1.0: 10-band equalizer, new plugins, support for 7-zip, more |
Ó
After brewing in development for more than a year, GameMusicGear finally kicks off its official version 1.0 release! Silmarilion has outdone himself with this release of his popular music player. It now sports a 10-band equalizer, new input and visual plugins, and several other features music lovers are bound to be happy with.
Note though, that bugs have been found in this version that causes the app to freeze. Silmarilion has confirmed one bug reported by niobe in the forums: "if press any button before square for enter to browser screen, GameMusicGear_MX freeze and PSP reset." He says that he will fix then as soon as he can.
Here's the full changelog of version 1.0. It's kinda long, but silmarilion notes that the biggest changes are the equalizer, the new browser/playlist behavior, and the additional input and visul plugins.

Comments [refresh]
This is one of the most fantastic homebrews ive ever used.
i thought that homebrew mp3 plays were so freakin stupid. im mean come on, theres an mp3 player right in the xmb that works just fine right? all the features the average user would need? the only gripe ive ever had in no visual multiband equalizer. i tried this solely to try this feature and i gotta say i freakin hooked on this thing!!!! the sound you get from setting the equalizer just like you like it, the interface, the control scheme and the way its layed out... its all absolutely perfect!
before i even used it i downloaded it and unpacked it and saw all the plugin folders and all that this brew required to work and realized that this was no joe shmoe *****in around mp3 player. this thing has gotten some REAL coding and is done just perfect. I recommend everybody at least TRY it and see how you like it!
Press circle and it freezes. Also there's no ATRAC3 support which makes this entirely useless to me.
it does have a custom EQ, so i guess that's cool.
rewind & fastforward don't work, so it makes it total crap to me. i'll stick to LightMP3.
what would really make me happy is an L/R balance feature and autocrossfading between tracks, the EQ is cool tho.
i tried it and i didnt like it at all, doesnt look very good, and is very hard to use. i recommend the latest version of light mp3 which is very good.
i like it it has flac love teh lightmp3 too but it crashes like hell? both needs minor bug fixes..btw why do u need L/R balance lol ;)
