Despite Test30's admitted difficulty with English, the developer still managed to pass by our forums and bless all of use with his application that modifies the XMB, Flasher Xmb v0.1.

According to the forums post, the Flasher XMB allows users to modify their XMBs, specifically by flashing the following:
  • topmenu_plugin.rco (the main icons of the XMB)
  • system_plugin_bg.rco (waves of the bottom of the XMB)
  • opening_plugin.rco (intro main of psp)
  • photo_plugin.rco (the icons of Photo)
We suggest you head to the respective Forum Thread for installation instructions. Word of warning though: be sure to follow the instructions carefully as some flashing is required, and it follows that there's a risk of bricking your PSP. If you're curious as to what it all would look like after the installation is done, click play on the video embed below:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! IDIOTS, LEARN TO CODE!!! We have already 43634734 flashing programs! If you want to help the community, learn something more than copyfile(), please!! I'm getting so tired of this ***** :( QJ, shame on you. You shouldn't even bother posting this!

I have not copied him to you WeejeWel

all the codes you must look like in something because if is used the same for. yes they serve the same for the only thing that can change are the variables and other things. because the source code does not copy of you Sir. that code is mine and friendly. I have not copied him anything to you to be an error because the codes almost look like.

by - 2007-04-28 07:04:05
Yes...

and you don't need that app to change anything on your psp. It is a lot safer to do it through the recovery menu.

Hmm...

I don't think you understood what he meant. He was saying that most of these programs only copy over files. He didn't say you stole code. Copyfile() is a kind of code commonly found in flasher programs.

lawl

I didn't mean you stole some code (like anyone cares, it's about 10 lines). I was trying to tell you there are already enough flashing programs..
