After dabbling on his homebrew application - Battery PRX - hallo007 has now updated his other concoction, Flash Agent - now in version F4. To refresh your memory, this application will let you change your gameboot, flash your default settings, or clear up the flash chip. Which files are removed with "relink dummy files"?
I have OE, today I had about four half-bricks, restored with Recovery Mode by copying broken files. How did you manage to brick your PSP? If you tried this app on 1.5, you're crazy.

I installed a font pack yesterday, and Now none of my Japanese font shows up. Its really Hard to play Monster Hunter Portable 2. Does anyone know how to fix this? I removed the font and flashed back (restored) the origional text, and now each JPN word is like _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ...
Anyone know? Post here, or aim at ColJohn517.

dont flash too many things at once, it will brick you.
just do like 2 things then restart the app.

Hey Hallo007 - found bug the same place like before in F3
yes, a bug... like I mentioned before, there is problems with the debrand thing. if u use this app to debrand the game boot it's HEX editing the first time. then I change the opening plugin (thas the one it's HEX editing in) and of course the new opening_plugin isn't debranded. so when i was trying to debrand the opening_plugin it says "Hex editing Opening_plugin.rco"(this is the 2'nd time I use the new F4 to debrand) but then it's suddenly changes to "copying ms0:/bla bla bla to ms0:/bla bla bla...) now i was confused, first it's hex editing and now it's copying like the "old" F3... why? and it still have the problem by overwriting the opening_plugin (I mentioned that in the thread about F3)
But then i tryed a new custom opening_plugin.rco and used another MS and a "new" Flash Agent F4 on that MS.
the first time it says HEX editing (and still *****s up the custom opening_plugin)
and the 2'nd time it says copying... (and still got the problem....
i think this is the BEST psp software i have seen ever! but it would be a shame to let these bug go unregonized...

im a noob to all this and i want to put the ultimate black xmb on and ive read i need to flash but i dont want to brick my psp please help ive read other forums and no one is helping much cheers
use 3.03 OE-C. Start your psp with the r button pressed and you will get in a recovery menu. Go to advanced--> toggle usb(flash0) then copy all the files you want from the pc to the psp flash, but be carefull because it can brick your PSP if you write to flash0
im on 3.03 oe c and wnt to know how to do it i dont want to risk bricking is there a likk to a site that tells me wot to do?like what files to take out and put in with out bricking cheers
Flash agent rocks!! O.K. so I did semi-brick my PSP but thats because I said screw the README and procceded with anything but caution. Recovery mode, tah dah back to3.03. NEways I was not very confident about flashing my PSP but Flash Agent made it really easy. My PSP is all customized and tricked out now. hope I don't turn into that Mario guy. Love it, cant wait for rev5, Read READMES people. Out
Good advice I think I semi-bricked my PSP that way, but brought it back through RECOVERY, now my PSP is all custom.
If you can't find help here, Afterdawn.com has some really great forums. I'd really like to help you out, respond to this if you need assistance and maybe we can get your PSP customized.
