 eChanger

Uber0ne has just written us a letter regarding the final release of his project, eChanger. For those that aren't very familiar with it, it's specifically made as an extra perk for those who are using the GTA boot. It's a program that will allow you to change the eMenu easily and without having to restart GTA to view the changes.

He anticipates that there aren't very many who'll get a chance to use it since a lot of people have just downgraded, but as he said "I just wanted to release a final version of eChanger for eMenu, just because I dont like leaving work unfinished". Pretty noble huh? He sure is one guy dedicated to coding. Besides, this could be useful for those who have a TA-082 PSP, and those who chose not to downgrade (for whatever reason, you tell me).

What's new with this one? In his own words: "I included minor updates that arnt really noticable. The main part of this release is the windows app that automatically puts the files you select on your computer into the appropropriete place on the PSP." He also wishes to alert those who might be interested in using it that "this only supports up to 10 screens and ONLY WORKS WITH EMENU NOT ELOADER" For people who wishes to have a look at this app's source code, perhaps to tinker with it a bit, just email Uber0ne (his addy is inside the Readme) and he'll send it to you.

He closed his message saying "thanks guys keep it classy QJ and Community". We will Uber0ne, and it's all for equally classy guys like you.

» ...duh...

I spent way too much time trying to get both the earlier version of the eChanger as well as this final version before realizing that this app doesn't work with eLoader, just eMenu. I didn't even know the two were seperate. Of course, I only realized this after reading the FULL post.

I appologize, I was really gonna complain.

» hmmm

i dont know but it is sorta useful... i mean if you were an idiot or otherwise had some motive to having eloader to run it thru devhook via gta then it could just have a purpose. Also some people might be waiting on the k

For all of you that have a psp native to 2.6 or a ta-082... i feel your pain, but the good news is i downgraded my psp cause it was compatible.

» well I didn't downgrade

I have two psp's and don't know if I should down grade, or just leave it like it is. One is 2.60 upgraded to, not by me, but the person that I bought it from., and a 1.50, bought the day they were released in norht america, so I don't really see a need in downgrading, I planned on using the camera and gps for the higher firmware psp. And I have checked my psp isn't the ta-082, so I can do the down grade, just haven't did it yet.
