Homebrew developer pucelano first released the application Easy PSP Calculator back in March 2007. But seeing that there's an on-going competition, the Neo Spring Coding Contest, the developer decided to create a new build for the Lua calculator project and make it an entrant.

Easy PSP Calculator lies somewhere along the middle of basic calculators and scientific ones in terms of features. While it doesn't have full the full utility and functions of a scientific calculator, the homebrew does offer some trigonometric functions. Its other features are as follows:
  • Memory functions.
  • Operations with angles, as much in degrees as in radians.
  • Exponential numbers available.
  • Conversion centesimal degrees<–> hexadecimal degrees (new in v2.0)
  • Sounds on errors (new in v2.0)
  • Four different skins (new in v2.0)
pucelano included a Readme.txt file in the download package below which contains information on controls and installation instruction. Browse through that first before installing the program on your PSP units.

Not bad,

Not bad, maybe make it more xmb-themed, make it more integreated with the psp. Maybe more functions, possibly CAS?

..

Do not make another basic calculator, make a "real scientific one ...with fraction and "back" button...

It is skinnable. Great calculator, man. I've a couple suggestions though: - Skins are too big in size (1.5MB each) which increases the overall size of the app - Needs button shortcuts, like, L=Delete, or START=Equals. All in all, this thing is great, I love the graphics, very neat and tidy :>
