Deviant Flash v1.0 |
Ó
Deviant Flash v1.0, a Flashing application for 1.50/2.71 SE is now released. Created by kid101skater (aka Kevin) and Lil13lazin (aka Tarek), this application will flash the files if they are on the root of your memory stick. As the program will be checking for the files, you will be shown an error message if your chosen file isn't there. Then, it will exit back to the XMB.
The current features include Flash a Gameboot, Flash Font, and Flash 01.bmp. To come in the future are the ability to flash all wallpapers and Flash Dumper. Of course, you already know that applications altering your PSP's Flash may necessarily brick your units if incorrectly used. So again, a warning is called for. This may brick your PSP if used improperly.
In fact, to put stress on that, the RAR file, which you can download right here via the link below, requires a password. Aptly, the password is I_WILL_USE_AT_MY_OWN_RISK. We guess that's more than just enough stress on the warning, so you can't go blaming the developers or whoever else if something bad does happen to your PSP. Knock on wood. So there. Just be careful, and enjoy this app.
Thanks to MonkeyBoy1916 over at Deviant Network for sharing this.

there has been a growing number of Flash apps... i still love X-flash but i will try this..... WOW 5th post!!!!!
How many flash apps do we need? Everyone should know that X-Flash is that safest and can do all of this plus more!
so whats so good about this??? what does it do that xflash, which is a proven app, doesn't??
I know the peopel make these to try out coding for the PSP, but they shoudl try coding something new maybe. Theres enough flashing programs. I have yet to see any app come close to what X-Flash has to offer. Maybe uFlash good work, but it needs to offer something that will make people use it over other apps
will this work with 2.71 HEN C?
this won't work with HEN since this isn't prx'ed.. it currently only works with 1.50 and 2.71SE-xx . i should know since i bugfixxed it and tested it.. but wasn't mentioned in the creds
I wasnt told to put your name anywhere, so you can blame Kevin for that, otherwise you deserve to be added. Sorry about that ;)
i mean comeone dont yell at the guy for trying something already done sometime u need to backtrack ur steps to find some new ones. at least the guys tried looks to be a good app to me. Thank u for making variety in our lives. look forward to your future work.
at many forums, you can see some source code of devious homebrew... the fact is that there mostly snippets with new function or variable names, also tarek(lil13lazin) cant code so he didnt make it, psphacker isnt doing very well, and i am enjoying my non-released shell with all of this, and their too stupid 2 intergrate in the shell, (which completely sucks donkey nads).
