Devhook Updated to Version 0.43 - 2.60 Firmware Emulation *Update* |

After a couple of quick and timely bug fixes to v0.42, Booster has now released version 0.43 of his very popular and useful device hook. Now this version allows you to launch another firmware version, up to 2.60, and use almost all of its features, including use of the web browser and LocationFree player, and the ability to run UMDs that require firmware version 2.60. The firmware remains loaded in the PSP's RAM, so after a simple reboot of your PSP, it will return to firmware version 1.5 like magic.
With that, we come to what this post is really all about, the V0.42b -> V0.43 changelog (courtesy of QJ.Net's trusty Jeff C.):
- FW2.60 reboot supported (A part of the installer is not supported yet).
- It is now possible for users to specify the load address for rebooting.
- UMD read callback changed from 1 sector to multiple sectors.
- The return value of dhGetVersion() changed from 0x00420002 to 0x00430000.
- Now DevHook will be started when starting the launcher.
- Launcher modified, 0.42b/0.43 new settings, menu construction, display layout.
- Plain20.prx and plain25.prx now unified into plain2x.prx.
- Append to stack when performing flashEMU.
- Added a shortcut key for exiting DevHook when rebooted.
- Fixed a bug in v0.42b that you cannot set the clock.
Of course, Devhook, like every homebrew projects around, is a work in progress. The evolution of this awesome piece of work can be seen by clicking here. Here's a list of issues Booster is looking into fixing come Devhook's next release:
- NO-UMD for FW2.00
- NAND driver emulation
I don't think I really need to reiterate the importance of this post, a quick look will give you that. But for the sake of the new owners of FW 1.50 (those who just downgraded their 2.50/2.60 PSPs), this version will now give you the full enjoyment of playing UMDs that require 2.60, browse the web, and run homebrew applications, games, and emulators on your PSP!
Update: There indeed was a fix for Devhook 0.43 released. This update provides WiFi in 333mhz mode. the features of the web browser AND RSS. Let's not forget the addition of a working home button. We have updated the download provided below. Thanks to CoBrA2168 and others for the tip. ;)

Note: For those of you who were quick enough to catch a brief glimpse of an update (not the fix), the file was indeed fake and a copy of BookR - check out the on going thread in our forums for more details.
Update 2: There has been some concerns from various users that the latest devhook version damages some files loaded on the memory stick; well as always, Booster has a quick fix to that. In this latest release, a countermeasure was created to prevent that from happening. (Thanks to TrueCrisis for the heads up.) There are other changes which are:
- Carried out a countermeasure to prevent damaging the files on memory stick.
- Return value of dhGetVersion() changed from 0x00430000 to 0x00430100.
- Source code cleanup.

UPDATE 3: Booster is once again releasing a quick update to his devhook app, this time he aims to fix the browser freeze experienced by quite a good number of people who tried the previous releases. Here's the list of the changes for this version:
- Increase stack number when accessing files > The countermeasure for browser freeze under FW2.60-333MHz.
- Clock changes will take effect after 5 seconds > The countermeasure for the problem that cannot return to XMB at 333MHz.

Figures. Just try the pspsoftware one. Anyway this is pretty cool. Got everything we lost from downgrading back. Gotta ask though, is there anywhere with the UK 2.6 update? When you use the US one it makes the devhook US region so you can't use UMD movies.

Loco Roco works on firmware 2.5. I use it with the old ver of devhook and my 2.5 dump.
They were on about the eboot version, not the ISO.

Does the Devhook 0.42 Return-To-1.50 Mod work properly with this by any chance? I installed the vshex.prx andloaded .43 up and pressed home+[] but it just locked my psp up. dayum
STFU N00B And Loco Roco UMD didn't work on previous DevHooks, it went to a black screen and crashed. The leaked version worked fine. Now I can play the UMD, yay!!

wifi doesnt work if it's running at 333mhz, so for those of you that say it isnt working you might want to take a look at what speed you are running it.

mh i replaced the wlan.prx then its working at 333 but the webbrowser does not show up.
My browser isnt working on dev43 2.6 emulation. It works on 2.5 emulation tho. Dunno if its the settings we have or what? Any suggestions from anyone with 43 installed and web browser working?
My wifi is working at 222. I set up my WEP and connection name, PSP found my router. When I try to start my browser the little thumper in the bottom right hand corner just blinks once and that's it, no connection. *****r.

Excellent! My Daxter copy has been lying in the corner ever since I bought it and I was forced to play it from ISO image. Now I can delete the image and play the game I own. And I can finally buy that Syphon Filter. Yay! Remember, nothing beats quality original.

Also when im emulating 2.60, sleep mode seems to crash the psp, power light keeps blinking til it resets. I am in no way complaining, this is awesome work and i always look forward to your updates! Thanks for making all of this possible

i downloaded the full package from the rapidshare site and moved the files onto my memory card. works great!! no freezes or nothing. and it runs my outrun 2006 as well. GOODWORK booster!!
1. New network connection can be set up and saved but testing the connection fails after the psp gets the ip from the router. The error is "a connection error has occured [80000020]" 2. Enabling WMA playback over the internet works after setting up and saving a connection. This option is under the system menu. 3. Web Browser doesn't even launch, it just reads the ms for 1 seconds, the white circle thingy appears a little and nothing happens. 4. RSS seems to launch but because it need some feeds to be set up before, it suggests to open the browser which isn't working. Note: I tested all above on my PSP-1000K with 133, 222 and 333 Mhz., still no luck. By the way i find it really weird that the wma enabling works but connection testing doesn't. Expect an update soon...

well, it says the DATA.PSAR is not valid for me, I went to the 'Files' section, downloaded the 2.60 update -> Extracted DATA.PSAR with PSPBrew, and then put it into the main directory of my memory stick. DevHook then tells me it's the wrong PSAR and exits the Firmware Installer. Can anyone help me?
even when i dumped the 2.5 psar file into dh it still crashed trying to start the emulation.

You have to change the loading address to get it to work. It's default setting will cause it to crash. (strangely the default setting isn't even a choice when you choose to change it. So just choose the first one. Works fine afterwards.

In reference to post 141. Go to post 131 and download that file. Put the DH file at the root of the memory card, and the stuff inside the PSP folder into your PSP folder. Start up Devhook, press O. Change the settings, click start. The machine will reset and be on firmware 2.6. Fully turn the PSP off to revert back to 1.5.

When i try to use the install firmware part, it says the data.psar is unsupported and just asks me to exit. I tried the pre-packaged zip files and they just crash my psp, i have a white psp, firmware v1.5 jpn, i tired using 2.6 jpn update, no luck, and tried also north american 2.6 with no luck... bugger!
you are not alone with the data.psar problems...must be some kind of conflict.

that pack is great everything works perfect even the web browser and it has the x5 portal only thing i dont like is the game boot move it looks cool but im no realy a big fan of blech or whatever it is cool naruto bg though and thants to boster for making dev hook i preordered katamari and have only played for 20 min (my friends psp)
You are correct, it took me a min to find that out but like you said if you just change the loading address it works fine. On a side note once they get 2.7 integrated in this we will have the ultimate PSP. Oh and why should we get that modchip again? Other than for those who have a bricked PSP. Also I know it would serve no real purpose but could 1.0fw be integrated into devhook just for the heck of it? I mean then you could have all firmwares in one.

I tested the first link to the 2.6 but the internet browser did not work there and if I started to play a feed and then like got in to the game -> game menu the w-lan did not turn of but there was an oder link some boddy posted after that and that one works (ends whit just 2.6 and is on rapidshare like the first). The browser work on that one and the w-lan turns of when it is suppose to, and testing your internet setting after setting it up works to.

The devhook installer lets u download firmwares so that u can rip the firmwares off the games...For Example, Monster Hunter needs 2.6, put the game in, run the installer, and u have 2.6 emulation. ^_^ Hey, please start workin on a return to 1.5 mod for this too, it doesnt work anymore..T_T

No lol, Return to 1/5 mod is a little mod that lets us return to 1.5 without doing a hard reboot.... (Im guessing u were asking me?)

the original wlan.prx is at the folder ...\dh\260\flash0\kd\wlan.prx not ...\dh\260\flash0\vsh\module. i get it all working with the pack Chaos Zero uploaded, only i can't connect to the router while in 333 Mhz. mode. But after connected to the router in 222 mhz mode i can set it to 333 Mhz. with no problems. i tried copying the so called wlan-fix over the original wlan.prx but i still can't connect to the router in 333 Mhz. mode. Am i doing something wrong or is this fix bull*****?

they need to get a nice back to 1.5 mod onto this. That was the best mod for the Devhook I've had so far.
I have got Wifi at 333Mhz working by replacing the wlan.prx from the old 2.50 version of Devhook and I set the PRELOAD ADDRESS to 0x88E00000. The only problem I am having is that RSS does not work. It will add the channel and tell me to access it through [RSS Channels] under Network, but then it just tells me I don't have any RSS Channels and sends me to the tutorial. Good Job with .43 Booster! :)
Tool folder goes in C:/ if you want to use it to compress ISOs. it's not necessary for the running of Devhook .43

for some reason it says the game cannot be started even though it displays tokobot in the umd little video in the psp menu. I have the iso in the iso folder on the root fo the memory stick as wel and select it in devhook.
as far as i know yes, it seems to work nicely. The rss and the web browser wrok fine for me... also if you go to planetpsp.com they have a screenshot feature that works great also.

Do a search of the 260 folder for wlan.prx and replace that one with the fixed one, and yes, all 2.6 UMD's should work providing you have the correct region firmware for movies (i.e if your emulating 2.6 JAP fw then USA movies wont work). A question of my own, as ive replaced the KD folder inside DH with the new files, my USBHOSTS 0.41 DH no longer works, is there any way i can run 0.43 and still use the USB functionality of the previous release? TIA.

If you are having problems with web browser and the RSS problem when you download the .xml file but when you go to the RSS feuture it says that you have no file this will fix it! This worked for me. Follow 199 instructions! good luck and oh yeah this thing ROCKS!

Go into the MS-Root folder in the DevHook download and copy the dh and psp folder onto the root of your mem-stick. 3. Download pbp unpacker(you'll have to find it on your own) 4.Download 2.60 update(from PSP Updates :) 5. Open the update with pbp unpacker and extract all the files to wherever you want (the file needed is the data.psar) 6. Get the data.psar from the extracted update and put that onto the root of your mem-stick 7. On the psp choose devhook installer and start that, then when you are in the eboot start the installer, at the end of the installation it will ask if you want to copy your flash1, press O to copy flash1 settings 8. Yes I had that problem! I lost my save since it failed an froze! I've been told to keep 2 saves, so im alternating saving slots after each level (doesn't seem much point to save two copies EVERY level with this game).

that fix does nothing about the wifi issue or exiting back to 1.50 firmware issue. maybe it fixes another issues that didn't catch our eyes yet. please booster release some fix that really fixes something...
I dloaded as per 164.... Set up as per 171 Would go online but the damn thing would not save the demo RSS feed. Downloaded & installed the fix (both the Game/DH_ENG & DH_ENG% & the dh/kd folder.....still no RSS. Tried to reset PSP to defaults....PSP Would not load Devhook. Then just re-installed the 2.60 folder (only this folder!) & tried loading Devhook again with settings as per 171... Lo & behold It now runs fine....at least as far as Web & RSS are concerned. Not sure what I did exactly....maybe the fix only requires the replacement of the Game/DH_ENG & DH_ENG% folders & not the dh/kd folder.... Will have a play & see if that is the case...

Okay I downloaded Choaszero pack, put the dh folder in root, and the other folder in game. When i try to load it it says corrupt, Why and how do I get this to work? the readme isnt really helpfull. Can anyone point me out in the right direction.

According to a different website, Devhook has had bug fixes and been updated again. Specifically bug fixes to solve crashing when trying to exit games using the ''Home'' button, wifi problems and other bug fixes to do with the Browser. I downloaded this version and the ''Home'' button problem has dissapeared.
I'm having a lot of trouble understanding the directions for this. yeah booster know it has been decompressed, although if you check the spec for devhoook 2.6 (also in the top article) it says : - FW2.60 reboot supported (A part of the installer is not supported yet). I'm thinking it might be a bit more complicated for booster to simply decrypted 2.71 firmware files to devhook. Something major may have changed between 2.6 adn 2.71, maybe the reboot.bin is decompressed on the fly (and possibly decrypted, Im sure fluff had said that the 2.71 reboot.bin is also encrypted as well as compressed) and he may need to build in decompression and decryption into the booting proccess rather than simply loading it, who knows....

i installed fw2.60 and when launching i just get a black screen and then the psp shuts off. after reading the fwinstall instructions it said for 2.60 you need the reboot.bin file in the 260 directory, but the fw installer cannot make it and you need to get it from somewhere else, where can i get this file or how?

Hi there who has been having troubles with locoroco. when it comes to sving some of the standard sony writing is distorted. it will save but once i get to the third level the writing becomes really bad. and spometimes the save become corrupted. however when looking at the save in the save data utility they appear fine. i tried daxter and there was no funny writing either. could any one shed light on this. could it be my copy of loco roco. its eu umd. cheers

If you guys are having so much trouble with DevH. on the front page, go and download the pre-made, full pack ver from Chaoszero from the numerous links on this comment page. His works right at bootup and you don't have to mess with anything, plus wif/RSS works at 333MHz as well.

I've downloaded the "full" version (if that makes any difference) from another (well known) site. I can't test the browser because there seems to be a limit of 15 characters on the length of the connection name (SSID). After 15 characters I can't enter any more. Can some one else confirm this (or tell me if a none "full" does not have the same problem).

I had the same problem. Save everything you have on your memory stick to your computer, and then reformat your mem stick. Then just put devhook in there. It should work. Having stuff like MPH loader on your stick, or older versions of Devhook screws it up.

To remove Chaos boot just download the original boot intro below. http://rapidshare.de/files/25500532/originalgameboot.rar.html then copy it over to ms:\dh\260\flash0\vsh\resource. or look at post 351 for link to different intro called "Blood & Claws".
just restore system defaults in devhook and you'll have a jap 2.6 emulation. ('O' for select and 'X' for cancel) Note: Language is going to switch to japanese also, just change it in the system settings. :)

All the homebrews I like run on my 2.6 with the eLoader. 2.6 has the features that I really like. Therefore, the only thing I really want to be able to do is run ISOs with a UMD Emulator. The early PSP games aren't really all that desireable. The really good games require FW 2.6. Here's my question: Can I run my ISOs that require FW 2.6 on a 1.5 using a UMD Emulator?
I was wondering since you can emulate 2.6 and before 2.5 with the sample launcher would it be possible to run the fake firmware that is being made for the modchip or even using custom firmwares with the sample launcher
the savedata problem was happening when i was useing PSIX and IRSHELL to load V2.00 UMD Games on my V1.50.
THE DH FOLDER IS OK, BUT THE APP ITSELF DH_ENG CORRUPTS YOUR SAVE DATA!!!! GOT THE FIX VER. AT PSP HACKS IT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR ME. IM SURE OTHERS WORK TOO BUT THE CHAOSZERO PACK DOES CORRUPT YOUR SAVE DATA!!!

I had Chaos's pack and just tried PlanetPSP's pack both did the same thing with saved games. Garbled text with possible corruption. It's a problem with DevHook .43 NOT with the various premade packs out there.

Don't forget you can restart 2.50 back to 1.50 without pressing power switch. Just press Home+Square on the PSP Menu. 2.60 will not work otherwise it'll freezed and shutdown.

There's definatley a problem with saving data....I can load old save games but gamesaves made using this are corrupt.

following the 277 post and using 364s reboot.bin works on the internet browser even at 333mhz. i simply followed #277, then immediatly copied the #364 posts reboot file to the 2.6 folder. then started devhook. ON THE LAST SETTING you must choose the FIRST OPTION. your PSP will reboot and prompt you to setup your flash1 settings. after that i went straight to the BROWSER and it worked FINE. however the connection to router didnt work. so go into your 260\flash0\kd\ folder and open pspbtcnf.txt find the line /kd/wlan.prx and replace it with ms0:/dh/200/flash0/kd/wlan.prx DEVHOOK will then load your 2.00 wifi drivers. or for a PERMANENT solution, just copy that 2.00 wlan.prx file into your 2.6 /kd/ firmware directory. however rss didnt work, after trying to add a RSS feed for the first time from the DEMO rss feed offered by sony, it didnt save. and actually, after that i couldnt open the internet browser. anyone know of a solution?
Another minor bug with it is in GTA under save games, the characters come out all garbled. To make sure it wasnt my savegames, i quit the game and tried devhook 0.40 and there were no more garbled characters. If it helps, it was GTA Europe (non patched).
GTA seems to have the garbled text on save, and sometimes it fails to save at all, then you try again, and the game crashes! man, the levels i did took loads of goes, then it doesnt save arggghhh!

not just saving, loading issues too, will have to migrate back to 0.42b, not sure what the problem is but its garbled text on save/load menus, eveything else works fine, web broswer, all normal main psp menu stuff

Looks like it exist small fix for small issues for the devhook .43 Right now it feel 0.42 would be the best to use untill the devhook 0.43 with 2.6 emulation works more stable.

I can't believe what an amazing job people are doing keeping up with hacking the psp despite sony's persistant attempts to stop hacking in its tracks. Thank you Booster. i put it in and it works just as well as 2.5 emu i have not tested any 2.6 games since i dont have any, but im sure it will work, il just go to blockbuster and thay let me test games before i buy them
Ive notice a few people have been complaining about loco roco messing up durin saves, with the text going unreadable and such. If you save at that point, just restart the application and continue from the save, the text returns to normal and I havent had any problems from then on.

ok I downloaded .... formated stick with 1.5 psp ... installed Devhook in all the right places ... I try to run it and I get a black screen .. then it shuts off turn it back on and still running 1.5 :-( what am I doing wrong??? you need a file called reboot.bin that is an extra file that is needed in order for devhook to work

i got rss and web browser and rss working fine, but for some reason when i try to use the web browser after using rss, my psp freezes. anyone know why this occurs or how to fix this?
If your getting a crash with the web browser on 333, start devhook on 222 and once it load press home + select to change to 333...I did this and it killed the crash...Its Working fine now...
I only ever use the 222 setting. my browser and rss channels work fine, but when i try to use my web browser AFTER using rss, my psp freezes.

Thanks of course to booster, i knew after the downgrader then 2.6 decrypt, that 2.6 emu would be soon, i didnt think this soon and thanks to truecrisis, you saved me from upgrading back to 2.6 with the link to the save game fix
The dh folder goes on the root directory of your memory stick, while the other two folders go into your "Game" folder like any other Homebrew app.

i guarantee it. boosters english isnt that good. its just someone trying to hype up 2.71 it doesnt matter if its him or not anyway. he will get 2.71 on his own time. from reading his posts on his page, it looks as if he will try to fully support 2.6 before moving on to 2.71

Your save got corrupted by the previous version of DevHook, you won't be able to use it anymore. I was commenting on the data corruption issue earlier (I've even had DH corrupt photos and videos on my memory stick) but my post got deleted by QJ. -__-
just so you should know, the full 0.43 i got from ps2nfo works 100% no corrupt saves/333mhz on browser/rss.. works perfectly..
It is not corrupt data it says the card cannot be read! Load failed. The Memory Stick could not be accessed. (80110305)
All the buggy releases of DevHook lately give me headaches. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome and incredibly powerful tool, but with all the corruption issues lately, what's in store with the next version? Will it format your memory stick?
yeah I ripped th 2.6 data psar with pspbrew and used the devook installer, and when I try and load it it just crashes on reboot to xmb and switches my psp off.....still using 2.5 but I want rss lol:(

@493, you don't have to download and try all the new updates as they come out, you could always hang back and read the comments to find out if its bugged or not.

Man, my browser was working perfectly until I had to set everything up again with the new Devhook files because the older one corrupted some data. Now it doesn't even load, it just freezes.
unless of course my save was corrupted before the patch or maybe it's just cheat device not working again

ok after hours of searching and trying to get devhook .043 (with fix) to stop freezing. I figured out you MUST have the reboot.bin for FW 2.6 in the 260 folder on your PSP with the reboot.bin which can be found at (taken from post 364) http://anctek.com/sgtconfig/reboot.bin you also need to change the settings (this was taking from PSPhacks) UMD SELECT - Use this to determine if you wish to load a UMD™ or an *.iso File. UMD MOUNT - You probably should have this set to 'ISO ANY UMD' UMD VERSION - Set this to '2.xx -> 2.00' FIRMWARE - You'll obviously need to set this to which ever Firmware(s) that you may have installed. (ex. FW v2.60 for Devhook .43) CPU CLOCK - Personaly I'd leave this alone. Allthough uping this can cure some side effects of laging. It might kill your Wi-Fi to (which is to say that setting the Clock to high may read: will cause the Wi-Fi to malfunction) BOOT SELECT - Choose 'Reboot XMB' And lastly... OTHER - If you have set all that above and your still having problems. You should try changing the 'preload address' (sub-menu), from 0x89000000 to 0x88E00000 EXIT - Will exit the Devhook Program and send you back to the v1.50 XMB....
Can anyone explain to me why you would ever want to use 333 MHz CPU speed setting on your PSP? It doesn't make sense to me as long as there are no commercial games requiring 333 MHz. So what's all the fuss and fixes with 333 MHz mode about?

At 333 Mhz games compressed into cso images makes loading times and game playing speed a hell lot of difference.
The only thing I can't figure out is how the screenshot feature works. where does the image go. and what buttons are needed.. I tried the L button + key note. Nothing seems to happen.
Read lots of successful / unsuccessful posts. I got myself a pre made devhook .43 pack. Updated prx from ps2nfo. My browser works fine, the rss's save. And i can open them, however i always see 'no item' in each and every one of them Anyone else had this problem or suggest a solution?

Just like many others have posted, 2.6 does not work. The PSP just freezes and I have to reboot. I've formatted the memory stick and placed Devhook 0.43 fresh onto the memory stick - this is the "fixed" version.

I can't wait for a the next functional devhook to come out. I've gone back to 0.40 since all fixes and patches and clean and dirty and whatever else versions did not work. The system goes to a black screen and then never loads.
as much as I appreciate his devhook software, Booster isn't helping the scene a lot by putting out all these buggy versions. As you can see from the comments here, people are massively confused by the amount of fixes, updates and patches to devhook and pspupdates doesn't even seem to care about updating the _important_ news anymore.
Yeah, I give up on trying to get all these games to work. Although I was able to get my UMD of Syphon Filter to work. I can get Monster Hunter Freedom(multi5) dax to work, and when I try to gameshare with Burnout Legends that don't work, so I'll wait 'til he cleans up. I've been waiting for this one, because I really want to play MHF with someone else, but I can't get it to work through DAX.
Occaionally when you exit the game and the please wait screen comes up the game will crash and stay on that loading screen untill you reset the console.
if you set everything up correctly, most all games should work. your syphon filter UMD works because its UNTOUCHED. the gameshares you have are EDITED for the crappy versions of DEVHOOK that only support 2.5. I.E. YOUR GAMESHARES WERE HACKED to work on LOWER INCOMPATIBLE FIRMWARES. the fact they dont work is your fault. not boosters. go out and get the untouched ones, and learn how to hack them yourself with UMDGEN

actually, just tried to run the game share on my bros 1.5, and it said i need to update..so that's incorrect. I could see how that is with the .dax though, since it was made to run with devhook.
How do you use Home Shortcut? I tried to press and hold L+R+DPad Up but doesn't work on 2.60 with DevHook 0.43 + MOD.
You have to be in a game (UMD or ISO). You press Home, then move the cursor to YES (Don't press X yet), then you press and hold L + R + UP then X (2 sec) and you will go back to 1.5. While in 1.5, if you run DH again it will load up faster too.
I use the ps2nfo pack but I liked the SCE Opening Screen from the PlanetPSP.org SCE opening where a British lady says "PlayStation Portable" and some children say "PSP!".

Please, take some time and work on this stuff. Quit releasing a fix every 10 minutes because your bug fixes caused other bugs due to a total lack of testing. v0.43.1 then v0.43.1010 in less than 24 hrs is ridiculous.

you have to replace the one in f:/dh/kd/devhook.prx then u have installed the update
ms0:dh\kd\devhook.prx ms0=Your memory stick (e.g Removable Disc G). @544 - Its cooler that they release the fixes bit by bit because different people need different fixes, e.g my browser wasnt working but my saves were, whereas other people have working browsers but corrupt saves. That way we arent all waiting ages for a big fix. Just be grateful that people are willing to give up their free time to do this stuff anyway, its for no personal gain of theirs. Thanks guys!

In the root of your memstick (that is the first thing you see when you click the Removable Disk icon in My Computer-look for other folders such as "PSP" and when you see these you'll know your in the right place) there will be a folder called "dh". Open it. You will then see various folders that correspond to firmware (250, 260 etc...). There will also be a folder called "kd". open it, and place the newer "devhook.prx" over the old one.

But if i try to play GTA it goes like slowmotion in the game i have try diferents speeds and with the fastest it goes a bit batter but still doing the same problem:( I have try use GTA with 2.50 but the game not eaven finish load :( Please if anybody knows a solution i really apriciate your help. First thanks for the update. Every game I have tried works well monster hunter and winning eleven 9 (US) being the latest. I think the main problem people have is getting the firmware dump in the right place (i Speak of this as the noob that i am) so it would be better off finding a ready to copy pack. Planetpsp version worked like a charm. As far as the browser and rss go i have not tried either one but i am sure most games work.
