Homebrew developer Sleepy (aka Sleepy566 in the QJ.Net Forums) just updated the very useful application DevHook Firmware Installer to v0.6h.This program was originally created by Tommydanger to help those who are rather afraid of installing new firmwares to DevHook. And anyone who has used this before will agree that it is quite noob-friendly and it takes away all your homebrew fears. That doesn't mean though that you will not take precautions.
Anyway, Sleepy566 said that as of the moment, there are no known issues for DevHook Firmware Installer v0.6h. Everything is ready to run, as the coder included the customized Devhook 0.52010000. And as such, it should run on all known firmwares. Below is the complete changelog for this version. Please make it a point to browse through the Readme file before using this.

- Bug fixes corresponding to previous version's additions
- Added newest Devhook and folders for all the firmwares you could decrypt (though unsupported)
- Added full support for 3.30 (didn't forget anything this time)

This is in the 3.30 folder, and you should all read it!
"This folder is only here if you want to dump this firmware in preperation for the upcoming version
of Devhook. This version of Devhook will not support 3.30 or anything higher which has not yet
been released. This is only here for holding the dumped files that you may generate (or not).

there's no 3.30 option in the included devhook launcher. also, every time i try to install 3.30 with the installer it freezes at ipl nand something or other... got 3.30 upd eboot from psp-hacks
Does This work for FW.3.30 and how do I installed on the Mem stick? :)
works only up to 3.03 i think, but i'm sure 3.30 doesn't work atm
Mines also freezes at nandipl.bin/....tghis is stupid
I'll look into the problem. I think I may know the cause... but I'll have to check first.

so has anyone emulated the 3.30 firmware yet? because i can't and ive been using devhook since the first release so what gives. i did a fully decrypted dump of 3.30 using c+d's tool and place it in the relevant folder,edited the devhook menu so 3.30 appears on it, tried to boot it then i'm greeted with a black screen and a power off! if anyone's cracked it please share your method thanx in advance!

Updated to version 0.6h, which includes support for the new firmware 3.30! Once the new version of Devhook comes out, this will be all ready to rumble.

I followed all the steps as explained and when I run the DH Firmware Installer, the psp just hangs and shuts off.
I have put the 3.11 eboot.pbp in the root also.
I have a TA-082.
Please can u let me know where I m going wrong

when running the devhook FW installer after it is done and says it deleting eboot to free up space it crashes every time.
What is devhook is it a downgrader or a firmware emulator? What verdion does it downgrade
Devhook is just a firmware emulator this specific version of devhook is suposed to automaticly install devhook made easier for people who cant follow longer instructions.
Where does the "Source" folder go?

Homebrew of any kind doesn't work on FW 3.11, this only works on FW version 1.5 and (most) custom firmwares.
PEOPLE STOP COMING ON HERE AND SAYING YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLES WE ALL KNOW THAT IT CRASHES AND DOES NOT WORK RELAX AND GIVE TIME FOR A NEW/ PATCH FOR IT
hey guyz, listen up and listen up good.. i have the same problem here but u know what this is like a test for you guyz and maybe by next week we will all have a new devhook to use this 3.30 version so we should all chill and wait for this new version to come out..

hay guys this does work as ive done it and am useing it play all my iso+cso games on 3.11 emulated ,im runnin fw 1.5 was using dh 46 that only goes up to fw 2.71 so now updated to dh 52 had some trouble at 1st but download the newer patch and hay preto it all works great thanks for doin this sleepy keep it goin so we dont have 2 upgrade our lovly 1.5 ,i was goin 2 upgrade to 3.10 oe but im unsure how to and didnt want to run risk of brickin it
didnt have 3.11 eboot in it so i had 2 get frm a mate who had it but its great no worries at all plays all games
Tried installing FW 3.11 using this installer. It hanged. Mine is a 1.5 set runing DH 0520100. Sigh.
Anyone managed to get it running. I had No problem with Sleepy's earlier v0.6f.
I could not get v0.6h to work either. It dies midway through the process and reboots. :(
Hi Im on firware 2.81 and was wondering if I install this will I be able to play homebrew games on it and do I really have to downgrade to a lower firmware i just got my PSP and I'm kinda lost on how to put homebrew games on my PSP any help would be greatly appreciated

yoz guys, i tried installing 3.11 with the installer 0.6h and it hangs mid way den shuts off. Has the patch been released yet?

when i tried to install firmware 3.11 it kept on crashing.
but i figued it out. download the below program and replace the eboots and ths wll decrypt 3.11 properly. i think ths maybe a old patch.

Hey Sleepy if your reading, apparently 0.6h doenst go past the part after its done dumping the eboot. However i tried Zaf's suggestion and voila it instantly started creating all the necessary files after its done dumping the PSAR.
