Despertar del Cementerio v7 - Image 1

It's here guys! Dark_AleX' latest update to his Despertar del Cementerio "Universal Unbricker" has arrived, upping it to version 7. This one carries with it the ability to fully regenerate the IDStorage.

This is really great news, because we know how much of a hassle it is to have the IDStorage wiped out. With this version, if your IDStorage on your PSP gets fully wiped out or contains corrupt keys you will be able to recover it.

There's also other cool things made available to you in DC7. For one, a format flash function has been added to the menu. And as with its previous releases, DC7 is compatible with a Pandora battery to restore and install custom firmware 4.01 M33-2 on the PSP. However, do note that newer models of Sony's handheld housing a TA-088 v3 motherboard still remain unsupported.

For those who already have the previous version of Despertar del Cementerio on your memsticks, you only have to copy the DC7 folder to PSP/GAME and launch the application from within the game menu.

Full installation instructions are at the readme file, so make sure to go through that thoroughly. And as always, do exercise caution when installing homebrews in your PSPs, especially for the new ones out there who have just been introduced to the wonder world of homebrew community.

Thanks to jj_ob for the tip!

.

Now its even possible to change the region. Not just fake region which didn't really work with UMD movies. Now I can play region 2 UMDs on my US Slim. I dont actually use it but its good to have somehow.

by c74gta4smash - 2008-08-19 19:05:18
Why hate sony?

They made the PSP and technically even if they wanted us to have homebrew, they really couldn't allow it.

Ad-hoc

In the read me it says that Ad-Hoc hasn't been tested on PSP's with regenerated Idstorage... So has anyone with a PSP that regenerated their idstorage had any problems with Adhoc or what?
by joseph10444 - 2008-08-21 16:19:45
