The latest version of the mod, decrypter303 v1.1 has the following features:
Supports sigchecked files if they were signed on the PSP they are being decrypted on- Can decompress RLZ files
- The "sysmem_reboot.prx" chnged to "sysmem_rlz.prx" as it is used for both reboot.bin extraction and RLZ decompression.
- Improved error handling. Note: if a file entirely fails to decrypt (e.g. EBOOT.BIN) it will be deleted to prevent memory stick corruption.
- To save space, paths are printed as the filename, e.g 'audio.prx' instead of 'ms0:/enc/audio.prx' while decrypting
- For FW 1.2, I may integrate RLZ decompression algorithms into the app. If "sysmem_rlz.prx" is not in the 'enc' folder, a red warning will be displayed and RLZ decompression will not be possible.
- decrypter303 v1.1 still cannot decrypt game EBOOT.BIN files ("unknown tag C0CB167C" error) because of a different encryption. I will see about adding this.

On the other hand, doesn't this mean we can use the newer topmenu_plugin.rco files if we have decrypted them (cause they have the newer icons in them)
Everyone says they're stored ON the flash, but tell me this, why do they revert back everytime you upgrade your PSP, it's because the firmware has the file in it as well and overwrites it each time.

They don't. I use them on my PSP and they work fine.

We could try one other game too - let's NOT upgrade, or if we're foolish enough to do so, then let's NOT whine unless we ourselves are hard at work at what we're whining about...
The estimate that I heard was that it would take a supercomputer some 1000 years (one or two more than the average PSP's life expectancy) to crack the 256-BIT AES ENCRYPTION found on the license code...
Thanks to the devs for at least TRYING despite the harsh odds... and if you've upgraded of your own free will, stay with the lowest firmware and just keep hoping - Rome wasn't built in a day.

256-BIT AES ENCRYPTION MY ARSE ! it only takes time and time is on our side as all sony can do is force us to update and we all now know not to as the developers will allways find a way to copy, what ever is made can be copyed/duplicated.
people say you can't clone sheep, well geuss what darwin they f00king did it !

maybe if we made a program to share the load of the calculations, there are millions of people who could help cracking the AES, it would take considerably less time to crack it if we all work on it together...
