Dark AleX has released a fix for a bug in CFW 5.00 M33's PSX extension. Here's how Dark AleX described the bug:
This is a bug in M33 code that is caused sometimes with certain icons.
I'm not gonna bother do an update only for this but I'll post the file that fixes this for anyone wanting to fix it manually replacing the file.
This also fixes document.dat not working.
Aside from this, Dark AleX has also informed the community that the popsloader plugin is already finished, but has to wait for the release of M33-2 core:
Btw, popsloader plugin is already finished, although it requires M33-2 core, so it cannot be released until M33-2 is released (probably thursday)

At least the popsloader is finished, been holding off updating to cfw 5.00 because the popsloader plugin doesn't work.

I've been switching back and forth between 4.01 and 5.00 just to continue playing PSX games. Hopefully this will keep me on 5.00 m33

When did dax release a popsloader for for 5.00?
Didn't RTFA. My fault.
DAX, please release 5.1 m33 so that I can use the playstion network again! I purchased echochrome so far and it's great! ..but am now told to update my firmware in order to access the store
the 5.01 update is 4 ppl who have 8-16gb sticks..+ if u still have problems then use the usb fake version.
Apparently there is a popcorn intstaller eboot made by developer mrshizzy floating around on the net for those of you who aren't too too confident about manually fixing this problem yourself. I don't know if it works but it's just something I stumbled upon this morning. Just search for: 500_m33_fix_installer_eboot.rar or something similar to that anyway. Anyone who uses it should come back and post their results

He's talking about the PSP's native PS Store. The usbfakeversion is only for PSP to PS3 connectivity
