CW CheatA week after CWCheat 0.1.6 REV.B was released for 2.71SE, here comes another update, this time, for DevHook version 0.50. It sure seems like we're not running out of things to do in the homebrew scene, huh? That's healthy.

Working under DevHook, this prx can cheat every devhook-compatible game under firmware emulation. It also works throughout raw-relative cheat codes such as action replay, codebreaker, gameshark, xploder, etc. Apart from this, it supports other functions useful for cheat finder and normal users, like battery, cpu/bus clock, devhook version, ms free/total space information.

Now, this is just a quick fix. Also, keep in mind that you need the database and language files, which are in the main package.

Anyway, here's the changelog:
  • No more screen flickering and real time update of data in the main menu
  • fixed that graphic glitch appearing when putting out and in the ms
  • cleaned up the menus of useless clear screen and print calls
  • added support for 8bit and 16bit multiadress write
  • string optimizations
  • support to select search intervals in the fixed value and diff search
  • now swap buttons option is saved and loaded
But there's more to that. If you wanna check out the complete and comprehensive changelog, just head on to the source link below. Also, you could also read the readme file that comes with the download. In the meantime, you can download the file right here.

same here

Yep, I used the devhook universal installer and I am having the same problem. I am trying to install to 2.82. Anyone know what the issue is?
by bamhm182 - 2006-12-02 21:19:58
I think I've figured it out

I think it installs to flash0, not f0, so I changed the folder f0 to flash0 and I'm trying to install it now.

I'm starting to agree with boobs

Okay, this is starting to make me mad, someone needs to make a step-by-step manual on how to install this, I've never had a problem with this before, it started when I got Devhook 0.50, did the guy who made it just THINK it was compatible with 0.50 or what?
by scoobydoomenowz - 2006-12-02 21:27:40
so ya....

ya... i couldn't get this to work.... does it work with 2.71se c? i mean, if it works with devhook .5 and devhook .5 works with se , shouldn't it work? and if it does work does it not work with iso? i know people have asked, but no one has really given a decent reply about it.
by - 2006-12-02 22:05:09
instructions?

I request someone who has got it working write a guide or at least give us step-by-step instructions for making this compatible with DH 0.50 FW 2.82.
by bamhm182 - 2006-12-02 22:10:44
grrr...

I wonder if anyone has gotten this to work.... I don't think it's possible, it just WILL NOT WORK! I'd ask the people on my PSP forum how to, but it's down ATM, I think I'll ask the people here.
by - 2006-12-03 02:35:43

This might help

http://www.homebrewhowto.com/psp-homebrew-tutorials/cw-cheat-tutorial.html This discusses the initial set up (which I am sure you guys so sorry about the noobness). I had to get the original 1.6.0 file which is about 3.7mb, install it then change the .PRX, there is a guide in the homebrew forum how to update it so Devhook .50 reads it. I have to say I had to do a tonne of jusmping around to figure out whats going on with this thing ARRRGRGRG
by - 2006-12-03 06:24:50
can't get it to work

- Changed the pspbtcnf_game_dh.txt - added /kd/cwcheat.prx, -installed the cwcheat.prx in ms0:/dh/kd/ -put the cheat.db file into ms0: dh/ and it gets to the boot screen (for SFA3max EU) and goes black. The only thing I cannot figure is that when I tried to auto install, the auto installer says cannot find pspbtcnf_game.txt Maybe it is an issue with the F1 and F0 folders in FW2.82? Sorry is I am so nooby been doing this fora while but I can't figure it.
by - 2006-12-25 12:40:31
this thingamagig

The pspbtncnf.txt is in some weird language. The Installer says it cannot read it. Can someone please help me. I am trying to hack SOCOM FTB 2, SO I NEED THIS INSTALLER TO WORK!!!!!! DO I HAVE TO GET A NEW PSPBTNCNF.TXT, IF SO WHERE. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!
