CWCheat Universal Cheat Device for the PSPThe people over at Consoleworld have released a new update of their CWCheat Universal Cheat Device for the PSP that will make breaking the rules for your PSP games easier. CWCheat v0.1.3b now adds three games to the database, for a total of 115 games and 1,997 cheats supported by v0.1.3b.

The rest of the changelog says:
  • [CORE PRX]
    • corrected a bug which overflodded the kernel ram if a game had more than 399 cheats and could lead to a crash (eg: monster hunter freedom eu)
    • now 420 cheats are supported per game (now all mhf cheats can be loaded)
    • now the remaps folder of remaPSP is moved to ms0:/dh/ before it was in ms0:/
  • [INSTALLER]
    • removed the 0x0 from the GUI
  • [PACKAGE]
    • added a french manual by stark from cfccar.com

CheatMaster is way better for cheating than CWCheat, and with CheatMaster at least the codes that you use actually work in the game. Plus you can also lock the codes and save them, unlike CWCheat, and you can also use CWCheat codes in CheatMaster.

You noobs don't deserve this or any other cheat device, if you can't learn how to read and follow simple tutorials and guides.

Go pick your nose or something.

#8 you are a bit old on your ideas

these things can be done with cwcheat

» Need to improve the version further...

I have managed to uncover some more cheat codes for Monster Hunter Freedom especially on the poisons and others which have not been listed in the attached cheat.db. Now the problem is that I still have a problem of loading the complete list. I think my MHF list is about 500 cheat.

Just a suggestion, instead of creating a fix array size, why not dynamic! So memory is not under utilised if the game don't need so many cheat codes. Another suggestion, is it possible to create a browser for loading new cheat.db rather than default directory so that new cheat.db file could be changed on the fly while it is still in the game.

Thanks for the best effort done.

Keep up the good work.

#12 i had tought about that i have just to find what's the best partition and warning the user if he is out of memory

i was thinking about it for the next version because the memory is running out.

well a browser the cheat.db as it is intended shouldn't need something like that...
