CWCheat Universal Cheat Device System v0.1.3 Released! |

The developers over at Consoleworld have released a new version of their CWCheat Cheat Device System for you to use in co-operation with your DevHook. This cheat system currently works with 112 games and has a total of 1665 cheats in its database. If the game you're using DevHook to play is too difficult, the CWCheat Universal Cheat Device is a prx that works when you emulate a firmware for DevHook.
Also, if you're not a cheater, CWCheat has has support for other functions as well such as battery, cpu/bus clock, devhook version, ms free/ and total space information. This works through raw-relative cheat codes just like action replay, codebreaker, gameshark, xploder etc - except this is free. This latest release even allows you to automatically download new versions of the CWCheat database from your PSP using Wi-Fi! The download comes in an easy-to-install package as well as well as a very detailed instruction manual which covers everything from installation to using the Cheat device.
The in-game menu isn't the prettiest of things but it does the job perfectly. The download even includes a PC program which allows you to search for cheats in the database and copy them to your CWCheat installation. Everything has been thought of in the making of this program - you will not be disappointed!

Cool a cheat device.(1st post)

Yes, I think so. There are a lot of cheat develoupers for many games, and I'm one of them. So far I've develouped cheat codes for Blade Dancer and Legend of Heroes. But it is fairly easy to make your own codes. A lot of people can do it, the only problem is, if its one of those games where the adresses arnt static and change when loading to different places or on start up. But there are only few of those. Anyway, yes, this is a great device for when you are having trouble with a game.
Dang it, I can't get it to work. Stupid manual doesn't explain it that well (well, I think the creators are italian though...)

No, Weltall(the creator) made the prx to where cheats can NOT be applied when the WLAN switch is up, so even if you arnt on ad hoc or internet, if the switch is up, it wont work. So no one has to worry about cheating online. Besides, its against sonys agreement thing on the updates, actualy the agreement for the ps2 also. Not that they could catch you but still

Whenever I try and run this with devhook emu 2.71 it crashes when I try and run Untold Legends: BOTB
Does this work when running an iso? Not that I have any. It is out of pure curiosity. >_>
I currently use 2.60 with the new Porter eloader. I was thinking of downgrading to 1.5 and use Devhook when, BAM!!! the exploit was anounced that let to the development of Porter eloader. This cheat device sounds temping though as I have so many games for so many systems that I don't have time to pass the hard way and programs like CWCheat sure help to pass the PSP ones and enjoy the game in an easier way to see the endings. But still not tempting enough to downgrade at this point. Good work though and I hope to see more of your work in the future!

i can feed you a list of programs which permits to cheat online without problem.
starting with that socom cheater yesterday going trought cheat master and dhcheat and finishing with trainers of all sorts. Also the oldest cheat hacker by nekobaku permitted online cheating. and also my protection was hacked up by someone making it useless.
doing a c heat device to cheat online is the simplest thing to do you just have to put two or three lines and you have your own online cheat device
oh and for the cheats on the database almost all cheats are made by users so it's not my work.

Hey 18, where can i get cheat master and dh cheat, the socom ftb cheat thing only worked once for me, i have a #3 disk, but i am looking for cheats for that for cw cheat, if you can help that would be cool man. Thanks

WOW I hate how this wont work with the wifi switch up. not so i can cheat on wifi but because i spent an hour tring to get it to work and that is why it wouldnt
