Sony PlayStation Portable - Image 1Homebrew developer Mirzab14 just dropped by the QJ.NET PSP Homebrew Development Forums to release a nifty homebrew application for the Sony PlayStation Portable that creates folders used by custom firmware 3.71 M33. CreatDir helps users manage their directories without having to format the memory stick.

CreatDir version 0.1 is the first release, and it only checks what folders you have then create those that you lack. Of course, it's still very useful when you don't feel like manually creating folders, so kudos to Mirzab14!

To run CreatDir, just place it in the GAME folder under the PSP directory. Keep in mind that it's for CFW M33 3.71. Execute, then Mirzab14's CreatDir will create these folders unless you have them already:
  • ms0:/ISO
  • ms0:/ISO/VIDEO
  • ms0:/PSP
  • ms0:/PSP/GAME
  • ms0:/PSP/GAME150
  • ms0:/PSP/GAME371
  • ms0:/PSP/THEME
  • ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA
  • ms0:/PSP/PHOTO
  • ms0:/PSP/MUSIC
  • ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM
  • ms0:/PSP/COMMON
  • ms0:/PICTURE
  • ms0:/MUSIC
  • ms0:/VIDEO
  • ms0:/MP_ROOT
  • ms0:/MP_ROOT/101ANV01
  • ms0:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01
  • ms0:/SEPLUGINS

But I usually just format my 32 MB stick after every major firmware release, copy the folder structure, and copy it all back to my main memory stick.

this is really helpful for all those people who don't wanna format their memory sticks but don't have the time to create all folders by hand.
