You must have heard of Piccahoe's .PMF player, CIntro. The dev says that it's similar to Sousanator's homebrew app, HelloPRX. However, CIntro plays PM files instead of displaying ASCII. Basically, this one plays a PMF file after you hardboot your PSP. In the readme, it says that you can skip the movie and head to the XMB right away. You can do this by pressing X while the movie is playing. However, if you press X just when the movie's about to be over, the PMF will freeze, so better take note of that.

Anyway, we've been getting comments about this app, and here's some of them:
  • RaiderX : man, ive been wanting this exact app for so long!! THANK YOU!!! that video from coded arms will be perfect for my intro!
  • Shyez:Wow that was really cool, I want to try this one but my PSP is 2.71 and I'm not going to take the risk but until someone does test it on 2.71 I'll be sure to find out the details. Good Job!
Of course, as we said, this may not work with everyone...
  • RaiderX: damn...this wont work with harleyg CF. harleyg has no normal autoboot other than the devhook...
Well, we got word over at our forums that this app works on firmware 2.71 SE-B. You can head to our forums if you want to check it out. DarkStone even posted a video of it, which you can check out here:

Hope it works for you guys, too!

This changes the intro movie, the one that says "sony computer entertainment" when you first turn on your psp, right? I think that's what it does but im not 100% so if someone could verify...if this is what it does then AWESOME!!!

I don't understand what the hell this is suppose to do? All I see is the guy showing in his video how he's loading iso's from the xmb! Other than that this video shows nothing!

very cool, man I wish this would work normally with Harleyg's CF.

It does work with Harleyg's CF though, you just have to time the Autoboot right without skipping the video...
