these updates are useless.. and qj labelling them as CFW is even more useless.. no new functionality is added by these "expansions". this fixes something that with five minutes worth of google or a couple clicks around this website you could figure out how to do on your own. Then you don't risk bricking your psp trying to install some useless extra recovery mode that all the noobs think is the next best custom firmware. sorry becus25 i know you are trying but these releases do not help further the homebrew scene.. It's like all the flasher programs that everyone kept making after the xFlash source was released.. pointless, worthless and dangerous. Especially since 3.03 OE and flash0 via usb.

Or maybe a lot of people submitted the news in a short period of time, too many to list. There could be lots of reasons. But they do give credit when they can.

This ain't a custom FW, it's a extra elf that likes to load in-place of an auto boot entry. You got this 'second recovery' for paranoid people, when we didn't really need one in the first place. ( Although it does help. ) If the second recovery is not entered, the elf is still loaded anyhow, and wastes some valuable boot time... Until DaX/HarleyG or Math release the source to 3.40 OE-A or the progress on 3.51 OE-A, there will be NO real custom fw's worth arguing over. Sure, its a good thing people are trying their best to make use of the very little they can. To answer your question... "Why don't you all go make your own custom firmware! heres what i did, i took the boot loader v o.2 and renamed it IeCtrl and put it in the flash1:/BOOT/ folder, threw in a few small pbp files like version changer, psp filer, etc, and hex edited the boot manager pbp, and without a memory stick inserted, i can run homebrew, thats what makes this app useful, i didnt try it with ie-a2 though, i only tried it with ie-a, but just an idea to give your psp more umph.
