Homebrew - Bookr v8.1 - Image 1 


Developer nct2k is back with a new update to his Bookr mod, which is now on version 8.1. The all-purpose document reader has been updated with new features, new enhancements, and also new bug fixes. Here's the changelog:
  • Fixed crash when opening PDF file which has many pages.
  • Enhance MuPDF, uses less memory.
  • Merged with latest source code from CVS with following enhancements:
    • DJVU support by Yang.Hu
    • Control/GUI enhancements by Christian Payeur

I am so glad that they put djvu support back in, now i got a cheap backup ebook reader for all those solution manuals !

Amazing release! Thank you for adding the DJVU-support. Tested with a kanji pdf and it worked fast enough. Not a problem with that. Though speeding up with the large & colorful picture pdf needs still improving (as always). Considering that, this still is a very good homebrew now. Excellent job!
