PSP homebrew developer, innercy has graced us with his presence in our forums by releasing his "Black Rhizura" XMB icons. Here, check out just what you're gonna get:

Black Rhizura - Image 1

And if you're wondering how this luscious set of XMB icons would look like in your PSP's XMB, we'll give you a little preview of that. Check these out and feel free to click on them for you to see them much better:

Awesome, right? As mentioned earlier, the Black Rhizura XMB icons were created by innercy who was also the creator of the icons in the black32 XMB theme (version encore 1) and the ultimate black XMB. Now, before anything else, you might realize that we don't have a download link for it below. The reason for that is because we're still asking permission from the dev to host this set on dl.qj. For now, if this tickles your fancy, you could check out its forum release thread by clicking on our link below.

UPDATE: With innercy's permission, we are hosting the file at dl.qj. Here's the link for you guys! We thank innercy for this creation and for giving us permission to host the file.

IE

Stop with the IE icons. The PSP does not use IE so why have that worthless browsers icon on the PSP. The PSP uses a dumbed down version of Mozilla.
by - 2007-03-04 19:07:40
Um.

Um the PSP does not use "Mozilla" either. It actually uses something called "Netfront"

Who gives a Flying F*$%

I really don't care if they use a Mozilla Icon or IE icon, it doesnt matter, it adds a sense of comfort with the icon. Plus its just an icon they look good ither way. Your probably just mad cuz you can't install them or something. GREAT WORK ON THE ICONS! :D

Works like a gem with the vista wallpaper/curves. ace. I love the icons. I expected i'd want the default icons back but this changes my mind.
by - 2007-03-05 00:10:28

recovery

I have 3.03 oe-b. You should always have a backup of your flash0 and flash1. First, plug your PSP into your computer using the USB cable. Then go into OE recovery mode (r trigger + power on), go to Advanced and select/activate Toggle USB (flash0). You can then use your computer to copy/backup the flash0 files. If you do not have a flash0 dump for 3.10 OE-A', I'm sure there are places where you can get it. Once you have an unmodified top_menu.prx, you can simply copy it from your computer to the PSP flash0 with the USB (flash0) on. Hope that helps! BTW, it is not the fault of the author of these icons -- you can not yet change your top_menu (XMB) icons in 3.10 OE (any version). I would also recommend that you get FlashAgent (or other flashing app), as it will prevent you from accidently flashing things that are not comatible with your firmware. Good Luck

..

I'm using the black32 encore3 theme by xploren. How do I edit the icons on its existing topmenu_plugin.rco? Say I only want to replace the game icon, what application should I use? Please let me know, thanks.
by - 2007-03-05 07:01:27
font

I'm loving the font in those screenshots, is that included in any of the xmb theme packs available? if not, where would get it? If someone can even tell me what it's called, I can make it myself
by - 2007-03-05 07:25:00
don't be a pain

Don't be a pain in the ass. He most likely chose the IE icon because it converts to single-tone so much better than the firefox icon. Doubt there's much more to it that that.
by - 2007-03-05 08:27:35
font (duh)

Oh geez, I just noticed that there's a font included in the zip file. Shoulda looked there first! Sorry, plz disregard my comment :P
