BatteryInfo v0.1 - battery percentage display at the XMB - Image 1Homebrew developer placo23 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a useful application known as BatteryInfo. Just like what its name says, this specific program provides PlayStation Portable owners info on their handheld's battery status.

This is not the first time that we've seen applications similar to this around here. In case you still aren't seeing the usefulness of such programs, take note that they give you an accurate display of your battery's life instead of the PSP's official battery icons.

This is especially useful when uploading sensitive programs to your PSP that require a certain level of battery life. Anyway, placo23 included a Readme.txt file with BatteryInfo v0.1 that contains information in installation process and other details.

Simple, to the point and it works.

The only beef I have with it is the red font color. White on a black background, or black on a white background would be a little less distracting. But overall it's good. :)

Not to be a flame troll or something, but why does it say version .1? I mean if there aren't any bugs, wouldn't it be version 1.0? Then again, I'm not the expert in programming, so you probably know what you're doing.

Seriously...great utility. Sony's firmwares are sooo pathetic.

Good job, keep it coming.

Sony's XMB was made with a minimal gui in mind.
