With the advent of different PSX games coming to our beloved PSP units, the need for better icons are becoming more relevant. It's true we're all gamers here but sad to say, we are not all artistic. Try as we might, there are those among us that has that unique eye for art and beauty. And so, releasing an icon pack is always and will always be appreciated.

Yesterday, we actually shared with you PSX Icon Pack v1.01 from developer Xaniseth. The pack included icons and pictures from titles such as video game franchise Final Fantasy and Tekken. This time, another homebrew developer took it upon himself to provide us with the same kind of goodies. Yay!

Synangel just released his first icon pack and boy oh boy, they are looking very pretty and sweet indeed. Just like the others, the files are in .PNG format and are in perfect resolution. This pack should be used with a program similar to Popstation GUI. Game icons than can be found in the package include Duke Nukem, Castlevania, Smackdown, MediEvil and many more.

Not really that well done.

This icon set isn't well done, he could have gotten higher resolution images to work with and maybe divided the icons into folder sets. I'm not impressed and rather make my own.

In The Life Of...

Oh, please.. spare me your ethics and lecture on piracy and promoting it. The one thing I can't stand to see from time to time, is self righteous people like yourself proclaim that they never once in their entire lifetime ripped, copied, or downloaded media and transfered it from one data format to another for their own personal use, or shared it with others. I bet that when your parents first bought a Beta VCR, they were taping and making copies of their favourite movies and shows from T.V., and backups of movies that they rented from the local video store as well. And, don't tell me either that you never downloaded any of the music you listen to in MP3 format from when Napster was around and huge, or any other P2P file sharing network for that matter. If you own and have a DVD-Burner, or even a CD-RW drive in your computer or laptop, do you not find yourself burning or making backups of stuff you either own or not own, is that not what you would consider piracy? And, having all that equipment and hardware with the ability to make copies and backups, well Hell, is that not also a method of promoting piracy as well? Wow, in your self righteous angst on piracy, I guess you forget to mention that you think all hardware that allows you to make backups and copies, should be banned and confiscated from each and every household around the world hey? OMG, just imagine if everyone had the same mindset and clear vision as you do, well... I guess we would be without our Ipod's, and Ipod nano's, and MP3 players, and DVD Burners, CD-RW drives, VCR's, gaming consoles and handhelds, scanners and photocopiers, Video Cams, and speech tape recorders, and anything else that records or copies you could think of. Yes, indeed, the world might be as boring and dull as yourself if we did not have these pieces of household hardware and equipment, that " we bought with our own hard earned money. " And we also wouldn't have them in the first place, if company's didn't mass produce them, and sell them to the general public for us to buy the product. I guess if you had thought of all of this, then your whole sentence would probably have started on a different note to say that their are some fine lines between what could be considered piracy and what isn't. For example, in my opinion, I don't see any harm in making backups of things you already own, as long as you don't go on to sell your backups to someone else over Ebay or some other similiar act to make profit from it. Truth of the matter is, ask anyone you know, including yourself, how much stuff you own is actually yours that you bought yourself, and how much stuff you either backed up or copied from an original source that didn't belong to you in the first place. Consider when you bought your computer or laptop, you didn't buy it with every software package you could possibly want, already pre-installed, heck.. you were even lucky to get any version of windows pre-installed with your newly bought system. If it didn't come with a windows version pre-installed, then you would have to run over to your friend's house to get his copy, install it on your system, and possibly make a copy for yourself to have(if you weren't up to buying the original retail version yourself). You can't honestly convince me or tell me otherwise that you yourself, don't have a majority of stuff that isn't pirated in some form or another residing on your computer / laptop, storage device, or any other media type hardware that allows you to watch videos or listen to music. Well, I guess in your own self righteousness, you would like to have everyone here believe that you are all morally good and whole. I'm surprised no one has constructed a shrine or altar in honor of your all forseeing wisdom. So, your righteousness, would you mind sharing your bills for everything you ever bought with the rest of the community, and sending them to the email addy: yougotpowned@jackass.net so that we all may bask your glorious wisdom and foresight? I think it's time you got off of your high horse, pulle
